This…. Is Thee best Papa John’s pizza I’ve ever seen or eaten!!!!! Five Stars! I don’t remember the gentleman’s name that made, cooked, and handed me this pie (carry out on 10/3/23 6ish pm), but thank you so much! I don’t give out 5 stars frivolously. I’ve ordered this pizza the same way so many times from so many places in different cities and states cuz I travel a lot for work and this is the first time it’s been just perfect. I asked for well done… it is cooked perfectly well done, The crust is nice and brown but not burnt, the red pepper flakes are dispersed nicely across the entire crust, The width of the stuff crust is almost the same exact width around the whole pizza, the toppings are very nicely portioned and spread out, the pizza is actually cut all the way through, all the slices are exactly the same size, it’s cut perfectly down the middle with not a single topping from one half on the wrong side (I ordered a split pie: half pepperoni, black olives/ half spinach, roma, chicken, bacon, black olives), he even has a few pepperonis, spinach leaves peaking through the cheese so they got nicely browned and they’re crispy…. What more can I say about this pie? I guess I’ll find out as I bite into my second slice. Thank you, thank you, thank you… You are a magical mad scientist pizza wizard ♀️ and this is a delicious work of art!

I haven’t eaten from Papa John’s in years, however it was nice that my information was still in the system from my Charlotte days. We used to eat it regularly back then. The pizza was ok. I feel like there used to be more sauce and garlic to it back then.

My food was delivered. I was SO excited. Then bam my pizza was covered in a topping I did not order. I even checked my order and I had submitted it correctly. I am so mad because the topping they had added, I am allergic to.

Dirty restaurant. No one wearing gloves..employees touching their face and other private body parts then going back to putting their hands into the raw pizza dough. Asked for extra pepperoccini and the guy put it aluminum foil after grabbing it with his bare hands then when handed it to me he had a band-aid on his finger. No employees wearing hair restraints had long facial hair and long braids and such. There was dirty stains on the floor leading into the kitchen. The first slice of pizza I ate after I had to re-cook made me so sick for hours after eating. I immediately had to rush to the bathroom to expel the sickening food after it was In my stomach for only about five minutes. Never again not from this papa John’s or any other manufactured pizza place. There’s no substitute for homemade anyways I was just so tired and didn’t want to cook after having a long, terrible day. I had better hoped bc I usually and previously enjoyed papa John’s pizza, but not anymore. There sanitation grade is a 93. The last time I checked which is pretty horrid for somewhere that doesn’t store any raw chicken, beef, or pork, bc all the pizza toppings come precooked just like any other delivery/takeout pizza establishment. Just thought someone else should know before they and their family get food borne illness like my mother and I did..

Don’t normally get pizza from here as in the past it was nasty. Tonight was good. When I went to pick up the pizza I had ordered, an employee completely ignored me when someone told them to ring me up. Instead, some lady who I assume was on her break, as she was sitting down in plain sight… came up and got my name and brought the pizza to me. Not very professional if ignoring customers doesn’t matter who they are. That’s bad for business.

Worst customer service i’ve ever experienced in my life. The lady at the counter would not even Acknowledge that I was there. And then when I acknowledged her she held her finger up at me as to tell me to wait. And then proceeded to do something on the computer and walked out. The other gentleman that was there proceeded to help the gentleman that walked in after me And then I had to wait for him to ring him up before he ever acknowledged That I was there. The pizza was awful. The crust was hard And tasted stale. I will never be eating at papa John’s again.

My pizza was too hot! I requested assistance in determining the safety of the pizza. A tall, dark man approached and asked if he could help. I agreed and asked why the pizza was so hot. The employee then placed his finger in the pizza and confirmed that it was too hot to be served. We were both confused and unsure how to proceed. That’s when a tall, overweight, bearded man with beady eyes approached. And he had a plan. This unsung hero blew on my pizza with full force, exclaiming “ahhh WHO, ahhh WHO.” Soon, the pizza was at a reasonable temperature and safe to eat. Thanks to this man’s quick thinking, I was finally able to enjoy my meal. I never got the chance to thank him, as before I could make the words come out he placed his finger on my lips and said “shhh.” I’m just doing my job ma’am. And that’s when he mistakenly identified my gender. But I let it slide because he was handsome and he was technically right.

I use to order here regularly until 10/25/2019. On that day I ordered pizza, and garlic Parmesan sticks, PAID WITH A CARD and the delivery was 55mins, although the lady who took my order said 35 to 45 minutes, I sign the receipt, and the driver put a tip in. Now why would I tip when that’s the longest it’s ever took to get my food and it was cold spoke with a manager, she reimbursed the tip, but refused to compensate for the cold pizza. Very disappointed.

Still my favorite pizza place over the others. But I’ve noticed a slight decline in the quality and consistency of the food. Pepperoncinis you’re still the chef’s kiss though .

After being away from NC for over a year, I ordered my favorite Papa John’s pizza. Very disappointed. For me, the dough was the selling factor, and it is not the same dough. Bring back the dough, and I will again order P J pizza, but for now, I will look for something better.
