Spoke with owner at error will be solved. Handled situation very reasonable. Will continue to support even after a mistake. Seems to be a computer glitch.
Eventually, our waitress came over and admitted she wasn’t sure what had happened to our order. She went to the back, and shortly after, our pizza appeared. Unfortunately, it was lukewarm, like it had been sitting for a while—possibly accidentally prepared as a carryout order.
The waitress seemed more focused on a table of young men across the restaurant than on attending to the rest of the guests.
The pizza itself was okay, but nothing special. Not much sausage on it, and overall, just underwhelming. Based on this visit, it’s safe to say we won’t be back.
I requested that the server take the pizza off of the bill. He was VERY polite. He went up to the owner to ask for it to be removed and the owner BLEW up on this young man. I sat and watched the server get obliterated in front of his coworkers and the patrons in the small restaurant.
The owner then took his hat off, came around the corner and straight to our table. He was speaking so aggressively and loud that it was almost like he was lecturing us for not wanting to purchase a pizza we never got. We weren’t upset or rude. The owner then put his hands in our face and we asked him to stop. He stated we were extremely rude and it was fine for us not to come back. We don’t want to go back.
I know if this young man’s parents seen him how he was disrespected, they would snatch the owner a new one. I would discourage anyone from eating at this establishment and discourage anyone from working with this guy. They may treat people like this in his country of origin but not in US southern states.
I will say the owner said he would take the pizza off of the bill and we could still take it but at that point, I didn’t want to eat something from this establishment.
