We were driving nearby and happened to see Grill Life BBQ’s food truck. What a great find. We loved their Tangy Carolina BBQ sauce and their Sweet Apple BBQ sauce. We tried a rack of ribs that were incredibly smoky and tender. Their sliced brisket was so tender it was hard to keep on the fork. The smoky cheddar bacon potato salad was good, too. The only place with better BBQ in Pennsylvania is Big Dan’s in Catawissa.

Just walking up, you could smell the goodness in the air! This was my first time eating here, but it won’t be my last! Take it from an old southern boy, you won’t find much better smoked meat than here at Grill Life Babecue.
I had the brisket sandwich with both the smoked mac and cheese along with the BBQ beans. Everything was delicious. I could decide on the sauce, so I tried both the tangy Carolina sauce and the spicy one. I still would have to get both next time. Each has their own special flavor. Even without the sauce, the meat has that nice smokey flavor you look for from a smoke house brisket.
Get there early or call ahead. Good smoked meat like this doesn’t last long!

WOW simply wow. Coming from two Texans, this place is hands down the best and closest to authentic southern barbecue that we grew up eating. Melt in your mouth, slap your mama deliciousness. I was blown away by the ribs and brisket. They have fantastic homemade barbecue sauces, too, that complement all their barbecue. Don’t even get me started on the macaroni and cheese, so ooie gooie creamy. Love love, love this place! Don’t just take my word for it. Go try yourself.

The brisket was done right—tender, juicy, and packed with deep, smoky flavor. You can tell they put real care into the cooking process, and it shows in every bite. Best BBQ I’ve ever eaten. The brisket and all the sauces were delicious. All three sides were fantastic, the smoked Mac and cheese, creamy coleslaw, and baked beans. The pulled pork slider was okay, but the brisket was show stopper. Next time I would get a medium in the Mac and cheese side as well. Going back for sure.

This is the best BBQ PERIOD! A lot of places expect their sauce to do all the work. But these guys don’t play lil games like that. Not only is their sauce incredible. Their meat is seasoned to perfection. They’re not scared of seasoning. The ribs are fall off the bone. The chicken and brisket is juicy and delicious. Can’t forget about those awesome beans that I could eat a gallon of it, and the creamy coleslaw that makes a perfect side… I will only eat BBQ from this location for now own. I hope they stay in business for LONG time. Because I’m tired of eating plain meat “pause” btw the prices are on point too

I’ve sampled BBQ all over the country. The BBQ here at Grill Life is in my top 5. Had a pulled pork sandwich that was not only huge, but so flavorful and tender. The BBQ beans were amazing, just the right amount of sweet and smoke for my liking. The Pork Belly Lollipops are a little bit of heaven on a stick, perfectly cooked and wonderfully seasoned. The Tangy Carolina sauce was also excellent, not that this BBQ needed any sauce.

Being from the south I am so, so picky about BBQ and I’ve tried quite a few places before I stumbled onto grill life. My girlfriends and I have tried almost everything on their menu and this is by far the best BBQ we have ever had!! It never fails that we stop in to place an order at least a few times a week. ..The food is usually gone by the time we think to take a picture and leave a review
It was pouring rain today and one of the guys even offered to bring my dinner to my car after I had paid so I didn’t have to wait in the rain. It’s the kind thoughtful things that keep you returning to a business, and I had to make sure I left a review before my move back down south
And yes there’s a loaded potato somewhere under all of that smokey BBQ and a bottom bun under that mountain high rib sandwich! You really can’t beat the quality and the kindness you receive here

Catered with Grill Life for a wedding welcome reception. Nothing but good things to say about these guys. They even took the extra step of picking up trays and chafing dishes for the food and didn’t upcharge us for the equipment. Delivered to our venue ~45 minutes away. Now the food…
Brisket and ribs – close to what you get in my hometown, Austin, TX. Not 10/10 but 8/10 easily, but I’m very picky about brisket and ribs.
Mac and cheese – some of the best I’ve ever had. Everyone was talking about the mac, a friend of mine said it was the best mac he’s ever had – smokey and cheese.
