Had such a great evening! I rode my e-bike along the Crystal Springs Trail before meeting my daughter, who studies at College of San Mateo and lives nearby. After the ride, I was definitely hungry! We looked for places nearby and decided to try Round Table Pizza, and I’m really glad we did.
We ordered a medium size Hawaiian pizza and visited the salad bar. It’s self-serve with plenty of fresh options, which I really liked. The pizza came out looking amazing —
perfectly baked, loaded with toppings, and full of flavor. The medium size was just right for the two of us (actually, even a little more than enough with the salad!).
One big bonus for me: there’s bike parking right outside, and you can see your bike through the window. As someone who rides an e-bike, that gave me peace of mind and allowed me to fully enjoy the meal.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and Ara took great care of us.

I was here for 45 min waiting on my food. It was a small personal pizza special. My pizza was delivered to my table after I ask. It was already cold. This is ridiculous with three people working in the back I can understand but also communicate.

I rolled into round table pizza. I ordered a 24 piece hot Buffalo.Wings/plain with four medium hot dipping sauces on the side. The buffalo wings were hot and steamy when they were brought to my table. One at a time I peeled a piece of chicken and dipped it in the little cup of medium hot sauce. Delicious! I saw them bringing a pizza to another customer’s table and set the pizza on an elevated stand. The pizza also looked incredibly delicious (but I was already having a delicious experience with the hot buffalo wings.) I love round table’s pizza and hot buffalo wings. I definitely recommend them. Don’t forget to get the chicken plain and dip pulled pieces n the hot sauce before every bite. Hmmm, delicious!

Pizza is too hot and spicy whether pepperoni or combo. Pepper (white or red?) overwhelms flavor of other ingredients. Hint of BBQ in sauce which I did not order because I don’t like it. Have to take it off our list of restaurants to eat at. Lots of competition out there.

I hate it! The pepperoni is super thin and cheap, it can hardly be called a topping because you can barely taste them. Also the tomato sauce is very bitter rather than sweet. I will never order from round table pizza again. This place charges a lot and uses very cheap quality ingredients! Pizza’s here are only made to look good but the reality is that they use very poor quality ingredients and therefore overall the flavor is very bland.

Service was great for me. I was thanked for the tip I left in the jar. I was asked what kind of pizzas I would like at the buffet.
When I commented on how the dough is done the same way as Bob, but even better, I was met with lots of enthusiasm.
The dough at this place is amazing. I wish all round tables did it this way. Thin cracker crisp with soft freshness in the middle. You would think a pastry chef rolled that dough.
