FLAVOR BOMB !! I had the Al Pastor (no beans) burrito. Insanely good marinated pork with pineapple in a burrito. The sweet with some heat. The perfect combo. And the thing is huge. Has to be over 2 lbs. The staff is friendly and full of smiles. The food is fresh and full of flavor. Now I have to drive all the way from the west side for my burrito.
This is a must see and eat place.

This place use to be amazing I’ve been going here for YEARS. They don’t answer the phone anymore and if they do I get hung up on ?? Their rude. Their use to be a short Hispanic man who was always working by himself he was AMAZING could recognize my voice over the phone my order was always perfect .

The lady taking my order seemed and looked like she didn’t want to be there. She could work on trying to be nicer. She didn’t greet me, didn’t smile once, and didn’t even hand me my food when it was ready. Just left it on the counter. The food is way too expensive for what you pay for. You don’t get much and it isn’t very tasty… I was really excited to try this because I grew up and lived in San Diego, California for 18 years but this place just isn’t a good spot unfortunately.

So disappointed. I’ve been going here for years and the quality has just been getting worst, yet the prices go up. Literally 2 weeks ago I came and got the same thing and the rice was filled under the tacos. Today, it’s in the small side. Also, my lines were thrown in the beans and the fork is just thrown in the box. The tacos barely have any meat inside… so upsetting.

I have had great experiences at the other Tacos California locations, but tonight was the opposite. I ordered the three taco combo, 2 with carnitas, 1 chicken, and no salsa. While ordering, the staff member rolled their eyes at me when I asked for no salsa, and was not particularly nice. Upon opening the box, I saw that all three tacos were carnitas and were covered in hot salsa. I was able to salvage some of the meat, but then I found a hair that was not mine or anyone in my house. It’s a bummer because they have had some delicious food in the past.

The Ultimate breakfast burritos are pretty good, but the truck doesn’t open until 10:00am and the prices have recently gone up. I paid $34.80 for two ultimate breakfast burritos with sour cream and avocado added plus three extra salsas. This is not counting the $5 tip. I love the burritos, but I can’t afford to eat them that often. The burritos did weight about 2-3lbs each and were easily a large enough to feed two people per burrutio.,,

Came around 3 pm me and my husband ordered 5 tacos and a chorisada quesadilla. First the menu said the quesadilla was about $9 and ended up being more then $12 I get it prices are going up but that was not my issue. We got the food and needed to eat in the car when I opened my quesadilla there was a cup of salsa but jo guacamole(which was clearing stated on the menu) that’s the only reason I got the most expensive one. So I go up and Ask for my guacamole thinking the guy just forgot it. He looks at me crazy and says I have to pay extra for guacamole. I point to the menu and show him where it says the quesadilla comes with it and he goes ( oh well we are out of guacamole today) so I told him he should of stayed that when I ordered it and paid $12.49. He then stares at me like I’m in the wrong and says we’ll sorry. Very rude and no customer service at all. My husbands tacos were falling apart cause the tortillas were cold like of he heated them in the microwave and not on the flat top. Horrible experience all around. With so many taco trucks in the area we definitely won’t be back.

Tried again a month later still gross it’s a bummer because they did great food only a year ago.The beans soaked through the cardboard that they served it in and it fell apart as I was trying to pick it up. The taco meat was also extremely salty something I’ve never experienced with them before and I didn’t get any red sauce or a jalapeno with my meal which I always have in the past. I sure hope things improve but I am sorely disappointed definitely enough to say something.
