I visited this Barberitos on 2/6/25 to pickup an online order. When I arrived I went to the pickup counter I provided my name and my order was placed on the counter. I looked through the bags and nothing was labeled as to what was in each box. Those that frequently order burrito bowls are aware you are unable to tell what the order is most time because the bowls are piled high and with digging through the food you are unable to tell what each bowl/order is. I placed my mother’s name for her bowl not one label specified which was her bowl. The containers were filthy food was all over the outside of the container. I asked the worker at the pickup counter where were the chips and salsa for each order? The worker stated the chips are in the bag and the salsa is too. The worker stated I don’t know do you want extra chips and salsa? I stated I want the chips and salsa that I ordered she placed the chips in the bag and said the salsa is over there pointing to a salsa counter. The worker stated we don’t fix salsa for online orders. I order online all the time I’ve never had to go and fix any part of my order that I ordered online. While all of this is going on I’m looking around and noticing how filthy and nasty this restaurant is and I requested a refund. I was told I need to call my manager Jessica which she did initially Jessica said I’m not giving you a refund she asked what was wrong with the order I told her the containers are filthy and I am unable to tell what’s in each order. After me explaining everything to Jessica her reply was well you can’t take the food with you. Why would I want anything from this restaurant at this point. As a business owner Jessica never once tried to rectify any part of this situation. Very disappointed at the service, food quality and conditions of this restaurant

The people making the foo 100/10. The check out person gets a -100. She charged me for an upgrade cheese and wasn’t given. Did not offer my free chips with my order and rudely said I had nachos and didn’t need the chips. Then put some in a bag that was very minimal. This is my favorite restaurant in Thomasville and this is my first and only bad experience.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place despite the dreary weather. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was a bit lacking due to the gray day and perhaps the employees’ mood. The lack of music also contributed to a somewhat somber ambiance. However, the bathrooms were clean, and the overall establishment was well-maintained. I would definitely return on a brighter day to see if the atmosphere is different.

Food was flavorful but my online order was missing the double meat and possibly the fajita vegetables. I remember the portions being larger when I went regularly 10yrs ago but I finished the 2x steak bowl in under 15 minutes while playing on my phone.

Portions were ridiculously small and a waste of money, the tacos were an absolute joke, you can get more hardy tacos at Taco Bell which is ridiculous already! Will not be coming back! Main meals are nothing more than an appetizer.

No point in placing a call ahead order, I can show up 15 min or an hour later and the food is never ready.. they need to change their process yelling my name out across the entire restaurant too. The lack of management at this place has shown to dwindle away year after year… staff all looks miserable to be there

Super disappointed. Barberitos was always our family’s favorite when we lived in Thomasville and we still get it every time we visit. It has changed so much. Last visit, the staff was very unfriendly but we ignored it and enjoyed our food. This time it was even worse. We came in to order for our family of 5 and the staff were awful. They made us feel like we were such an inconvenience to them. While my husband was telling them what all he wanted on his burrito bowl, the gentleman interrupted him mid sentence and told him to go pay so they can move other customers through. They also said they didn’t have any shells for a bowl so my husband asked to just put chips down first and the response was very rudely, “chips already come with your meal”. Another gentleman piped in and said, “I’ll just see if she’ll make you one” as if it was a big inconvenience and proceeded to drop a tortilla in grease for about 30 seconds. I’m so incredibly disappointed because this was always our favorite restaurant and excellent customer service, not anymore. Out of the 3 staff we encountered, not one was friendly. We are always excited to head back to Georgia for the hospitality we encounter that we don’t get in south Florida but clearly, the times are changing.
