The food at this Peruvian restaurant was absolutely amazing—full of flavor.
However, the overall comfort of the place could be improved. There was no heat on during our visit, and since it’s winter, it was pretty cold inside, which made it hard to fully enjoy the meal. The bathroom was also not very clean, which was disappointing.
With better attention to cleanliness and making the space more comfortable, this place could be outstanding because the food itself is truly excellent.

It is fully accessible but the bathroom door was too heavy at for me to push.
Definitely ask for recommendations of what is very traditional Peruvian food.

I was new to this type of food, but my friend had been to Peru and was a bit familiar with the cuisine. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and fun while explaining the menu and options in detail. Everything was done to the highest standards of perfection and was delicious beyond words ! Come and experience some peruvian culture through its food. You will not regret it !!!

I’ll be honest that I left agitated having an 18% service fee and the need to leave a tip because it was unclear. Typically restaurants charge a 3.5% credit card fee now, but this service fee seemed excessive. Some reviews say that was the tip. No one came to our table to explain it, so a $65.00 meal cost 96.00. Just an FYI.

We had recently visited Peru and wanted to see if there was a local Peruvian restaurant serving authentic Peruvian dishes. We went Peru Cuisine Bar and Grill 2 and it took us back to Peru instantly. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We had Ceviche De Pescado, Lomo Saltado and Chicken Linguine and as you can see from the photos, the food was beautifully plated and presented. And they serve amazing Pisco Sours. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic and classic Peruvian food.

We stopped in for a nice lunch. We drank the piso sours which tasted great. We ordered the half chicken with salad and fries and the churrasco a lo pobre. The chicken was so juicy and flavorful. The steak was also very flavorful. The green salsa is out of this world, probably one of the best salsas I’ve ever had. The waitress and who I assume to be the owner were both very nice. Very welcoming and very quick to get you anything you need. I will definitely be back and spread the word about how great the food was.

The ceviche? Bright, clean, citrusy with real depth—none of that over-marinated mush that passes for ceviche elsewhere. The lomo saltado is straight comfort, the kind that earns the word. Even the rice is seasoned with intention. Every bite feels built—on tradition, on memory, on actual skill.
There’s joy in the plating, soul in the sauces, and pride in everything else. I didn’t expect to care this much. I do now. And I’m telling everyone. You should go—not because it’s “good for the area,” but because it’s just good, full stop.
I’ll be back. Probably too soon. Probably with people I want to impress.

The tastegasm we just experienced here! Oh my goodness 10/10 highly recommend if you’re ever in Poughkeepsie every dish was perfectly made I had the risotto with salsa amarilla and salmon, my husband had the chaufa with pork and we couldn’t get enough! He had to roll me out of there! The chicha was perfect as well and his pisco passion coronita concoction was amazing! I wish we were here longer I would taste everything on that menu! Finally a Peruvian place that makes a good papa a la huancaína we devoured it before we were able to snap a picture!
