Had an amazing experience overall at this spot for their Sunday brunch All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE)! For $40, the value is very competitive, and I would definitely recommend it.

The highlight for me was the sushi itself. They get the fish-to-rice ratio just right, with generous portions of fish and smaller amounts of rice. This was a huge plus, as it allowed us to sample a lot more from their abundant menu without getting full too quickly.

The service was another standout feature. The staff was incredibly attentive, and our orders arrived impressively fast, usually in less than five minutes. A practical bonus is the ample parking, which made the whole experience hassle-free from the start.

There were a few minor things that could be improved. The menu seemed a bit outdated; it listed the salmon kama as two per table, but we were told the limit was actually one. We also ordered the agedashi tofu, which arrived breaded and fried, unlike the picture on the menu. While our first order of baked mussels was delicious, the second round was unfortunately a bit overcooked. It’s also worth noting for potential visitors that uni is not included in the AYCE menu.

Despite these small hiccups, the overall experience was fantastic. The quality of the sushi, fast service, and great pricing make this a spot I will certainly be returning to!

Good AYCE sushi. Inside is modern with a good amount of seating. It’s good for groups. They accommodated our group of 8 well. We made a reservation but they also do walk-ins. They’re only doing one set with the full menu but I think it’s worth it. The sushi was good. I liked their specialty rolls and their izakaya items.

Service was good. Friendly and attentive staff. Easy parking in the shopping center lot.

Wow! I didn’t expect this level of quality at Ayce Sushi Restaurant. They genuinely care about the quality of their food, even their udon, tempura, and other izakaya menu items. Of course, their sushi and rolls are excellent. I had a dinner at Osen on Sunset last Tuesday and spent about $400 for three people. I truly regret discovering this place only recently. Some of the plates were better than Osen, and the prices are amazing. I definitely plan to return with my family soon.

I came here for a late lunch with three of my friends and went for the full AYCE lunch special. For $34 before tax and tip, that’s a pretty decent price for the amount a quality. You get 1.5 hours, three rounds to order, and 10 pieces of sushi per person per round (you can order anything else on the menu too). Even if you ordered nothing else but sushi, that’s 30 pieces of sushi per person. We got stuffed due to the foolishness of my friend ordering several other items besides the sushi, that we literally could not order anything for the third round due to being so full.

The quality of the dishes was fantastic. The salmon has that buttery taste that lets you know it’s good quality. The pieces are also longer than the rice itself, so the rice to fish ratio is great. I love unagi and we made sure to max out our unagi orders and it was totally worth it! Even if you came for the cheaper AYCE sushi roll lunch special, I’d expect you’d still feel you got your money’s worth. Highly recommend you give this place a try!

Stopped by here during my trip to LA with my fiance and was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the fish. Everything was perfectly seasoned but not too overpowering. The servers were very polite and the ambience of the restaurant is very clean and modern. This place is a must stop by place for sushi lovers, or people who wants to have a good time during a date or family dinner

The price for the all you can eat menu was a great value. The sushi tasted fresh and was presented nicely with garnishes. The waiter was helpful and we were served quickly. The restaurant was new and cleanly decorated. My wife was also pleasantly surprised that they had gluten-free soy sauce available when asked.

We ordered several servings of sushi, carpaccio. We also got some kid friendly options like tempura, beef teriyaki, karaage chicken, and udon. Everyone was happy!

Two good sushi restaurants in East Pasadena where I stay on business have closed down, so I went to try Tomikawa across the freeway. It was well worth the extra mile. The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent! I had the Heart Attack special roll which was very tasty, and the rest of dinner was superb. They offer a wide selection of fine Japanese dishes, sushi rolls, sashimi, as well as an all you can eat special. I highly recommend this place for dine in or to go food.

First time to Tomikawa after our other sushi restaurant has closed. This location offers an AYCE option as well as an a la carte menu. We elected to choose our own and picked two rolls and an appetizer/small plate. The food was good. I enjoyed the Crunch Roll. The Alaskan Roll seemed overdressed as the base seemed drenched with sauce. The fried chicken was okay. It looked like a chicken thigh that was fried and cut up and nothing too special. The service was great and the interior was very nice and modern. I think overall, I felt like the sushi was of better quality than other places.

Super fresh fish! Carapacio is unlimited and delicious, but all the other menu items are delicious too, lunch menu price is unbeatable for AYCE sushi

Went to try their AYCE lunch, the price was $23.95 as advertised. I ordered a couple appetizers and a few roles. A couple of the rolls had too much sauce and would fall apart when trying to pick them up with my chopsticks. One roll tasted so plain that it almost had no flavor even though it was fried. The gyoza was decent, but wasn’t a fan of the seaweed salad. I probably should’ve ordered iced tea or a soda because the water tasted like tap, not even filtered.
I’ll give them another try for their regular AYCE menu or their a la carte menu. I do miss the Ichiban that used to be here and their happy hour menu.
