Excellent fresh catfish nuggets and fries. The portions were great even for someone my size. Can’t go wrong with this gem hidden on 8th street. Must visit coming from a person who knows how to cook.

TUMMY TIME!!!!!! We came to town for the Ghost Concert and were in search of something local but good before hitting up the friendship fountain, Google maps showed tummy time, we giggled at the unique name, looked at the menu and went OH YEAH we’re hitting them up, homeboy at the register was chill and the food came out fast hot and stupendously delicious, we got the onion rings, fish kids meal, and fish n chips, we’ll be back in the future, tummy time ringing in our memories of Jax.

AMAZING staff! Very helpfully and inviting gentleman at the register. Food was quick and so great!! I got the lunch special, fish and shrimp. Super crispy and fresh! I topped it off with the strawberry shortcake cheesecake. All for under 11 bucks! Great spot.

I’ve eaten here several times. I have never been disappointed. The gizzards are always tender and tasty. Ahmed has a smile that makes me feel welcome every time I walk in the door. May not look like much from the outside but the food is worth the stop.

It looks very unassuming on the outside but it’s in a great spot and delicious food awaits inside. Fried foods are hot, tasty, and crisp and it’s made quickly while you wait. You can also order ahead. Nothing sits under heat lamps. Highly recommend.

Always great service! Consistently good food and they package it perfectly so the fries are not soggy by the time You get home. 10 wings with fries is about 10 or 11 dollars. Great portion!

My experience here was great! I got the $5.99 fish and shrimp lunch special, that also comes with a drink. The food was delicious, it was hot, nicely seasoned and was crispy. The staff was nice and got me got me in and out within 15 minutes or less. I highly recommend this place!
