The food is delicious! We got the parmesan garlic fries, fried oysters, and the choose your catch bag with snow crab, shrimp, and clams. And the cilantro lime sauce was amazing! Honestly it is some of the best sauce I’ve ever had at one of these places. And the service was great, our waitress was very attentive and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our food. We loved everything here, and will definitely be back soon.

Awesome service. Nice facility. My wife and I were the only customers. We ate at around 4pm. The food: just ok. The shrimp spoiled it for me. The freshness of the seafood, in particular, was below par but charged at a premium! The shrimp just tasted like it was starting to turn bad. Soft, not firm. The crab legs and scallops were ok, but the shrimp needs to be fresher!! $150 and I want quality! I can prepare the same dish at home for a fraction of the price. Probably won’t be back.

The inside is not fancy but the service is great. We had a very friendly and helpful waiter. The seafood is the best on this side of town. It’s NOT a Red Lobster or Joes Crab Shack type of place – it’s what you call a boil, like a shrimp boil. It’s what I’m used to in New Orleans, Carolina’s or Georgia. So the seafood is cooked and steamed through in a large bag. You chose the flavor I.e. garlic butter or spicy Cajun, there are close to ten to chose from or you can mix and match, you also mix and match what seafood you want in your bag. Everything from crab legs to crawfish or scallops and lobster etc. We got the Cajun spice and chose spicy – level hot ( medium , hot, extra hot) Flavor was great. The Dungeness crab was phenomenal, the shrimp were huge and juicy, the clams just ok. For flavor and the crab and shrimp alone I’d say – excellent for Reno! Good sausage too in the boil. You can add corn, red potatoes, and sausage to your boil. The restaurant is basic yet nice and clean. Good beer selection and my margarita was on point. Definitely recommend if you like seafood boils and fresh crab and shrimp. Also I think unlike other reviewers the price is a steal. My husband and I only paid $35 for a bag of crab, prawns, clams and the sausage etc. If you chose lobster and other more pricey seafood you are looking at $65 a bag. The bags feed two. For seafood that’s fresh it’s a fair price. Coming back for sure.

Mr Crab did not have any Crab for our Sea Food salad?? The sea food salad (with small portions of shrimp & Lobster) was served with Ranch Dressing instead of Thousand Island. Our clam chowders were served luke warm. Tabasco sauce was served in a cup? Their cheese bread was cold and not toasted. Though they were serving crab legs to customers they did not have crab for our salads, strange. Will be my last visit.

I wasn’t sure what to expect. It has a very pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, full bar, and good blend of food choices. The food was fair priced but served very different than you would expect. I have attached several photos for reference. The portions were very nice and the flavor selections were amazing. The large shrimp was fantastic! The chowder was very good as well. Try it out. A nice choice for something different.

Went there for the first time on a Friday night and it wasn’t very busy when we showed up. Our server was great. Awesome personality and very quick to get our food and drinks to us. I had the lobster mac and cheese which was awesome. Tons of lobster and super good Mac and cheese. My buddy got a bag with 1/2 clams 1/2 Dungeness crab. He loved it and the sausage was awesome super spicy and flavorful. 10 out of 10 would recommend great service and food and atmosphere.

This place is a must try! It’s a bit pricey but honestly worth every penny! You want amazing service? They have it! Not only was the hostess checking on the tables our server was excellent! He explained the menu he was extremely patient and when my son spilt his soda all over the table they moved us to a new clean table! We ordered the fried calamari to start and OMG it was delicious! I also ordered a build your own meal we got Dungeness crab, mussels, clams, corn, noodles, and a hard boiled egg! It was so much yummy food! It was so fun to eat with our hands and try the different foods! My son absolutely loved the whole experience and we can’t wait to go again! HUGE SHOUT OUT TO THE AMAZING STAFF THAT WORK HERE! They are fast, sweet, fun and just the best team I’ve ever seen at a restaurant! If you have not tried Mr Crab your missing out….

Oh man! 15 minutes sitting at a table in an almost empty restaurant and not even approached by a server!
We have about 4 different employees just walk by us, no one wanted to help.
Everyone was just hanging out in the kitchen, too bothered to help anyone, and they want $70/person for all you can eat?
With high prices with poor service, I can’t see this place surviving.
We really wanted to try this place too.
