However if you’ve read this far know that the food and service are really good! For apps the focaccia was salty and toasted to perfection, the meatballs are warm and full of flavor, the calamari is spicy and sweet, and last but not least the shrimp tacos are saucy and filling.
All that’s said still come and experience this one. We might come again but at a different time.
We’ll definitely be back—highly recommend!
Eve was knowledgeable about the menu and gave honest, thoughtful recommendations — you could tell she actually cared about making sure we enjoyed our meal, not just taking an order. She checked in at all the right times, noticed the little things, and made sure everything came out perfectly. Nothing felt rushed, and nothing was forgotten.
What stood out most was how natural and kind Eve was. Her energy elevated the whole night — professional but personable, attentive but relaxed. It’s rare to have service that feels so genuine, and it truly makes a difference in how special the experience feels.
If you’re dining here and have Eve as your server, you’re in great hands. She’s the kind of server you remember long after the meal is over — thoughtful, polished, and exactly what great service should look like!
The space itself has potential, but the bar service was remarkably poor. While seated at the bar, it became immediately apparent that none of the bartenders made any effort to acknowledge guests. There was no eye contact, no greeting, and no basic indication that anyone was aware customers were waiting to be served.
Instead, the bartenders appeared far more engaged in conversations with each other than with the people sitting directly in front of them.
As someone who has spent 22 years working behind a bar, I fully understand how demanding and fast-paced service can be. Being busy is part of the job. What I witnessed here, however, was not the result of a busy bar. It was a clear absence of attentiveness and basic hospitality.
Even in the most crowded establishments, experienced bartenders understand that a simple glance, nod, or acknowledgment lets guests know they have been seen and will be taken care of. That very basic standard was missing.
The result was an atmosphere where guests felt more like an inconvenience than the purpose of the establishment. To the point where bar guests chatted amongst themselves on how bad the experience was.
For a venue that presents itself as an elevated experience, the lack of professionalism behind the bar was striking.
After more than two decades in the industry, I find experiences like this particularly discouraging. Bartending has always been more than simply pouring drinks. It requires awareness, engagement, and pride in the craft. At the end of the day, bartending is an art — and it is disheartening to see that art being treated as an afterthought.
A huge shoutout to Anderson, who made our night truly unforgettable. His recommendations were spot on, and his friendly, attentive service made us feel like VIPs. It’s rare to find someone who’s not only professional but genuinely passionate about creating a great guest experience.
I definitely recommend this amazing place!
