Although I’m not entirely into spicy food, the dish I got was rather delectable. The price for the dish was little higher than expected but still doable. Initial appeal to me from my dish wasn’t exactly what I had expected (I’m still learning Indian cuisine). Taste was delicious until the spice took affect. I ordered a medium when I probably should have ordered a mild.

The Island Spice Authentic Indian Cuisine 3608 E Bay Dr. Holmes Beach, Florida., in the small strip mall just South of Publix Grocery. My family has had several dinners at The Island Spice,. The staff are friendly and welcoming,, plus it has been a trusted Take- Out during Covid-19 … the restaurant is clean /sanitized. The Indian cuisine has been excellent each visit making this restaurant one of our favorites on Anna Maria Island. We have especially enjoyed the Samosa as an appetizer which is served with tasty sauces and the Garlic Naan bread is delightful. The Lamb Entrees are my favorite which are served Basmati rice and the chicken entrees are terrific, Tikka Masala, Curry, Vindaloo, Tandoori, Saag, Mango Ginger : ) The service has been fast and attentive. The food is made with fresh ingredients and include Vegan and Gluten free options along with a variety of imported Beer. You can also choose between mild, medium or hot spice. The sweet and sour spicy Indo-Chinese Appetizers are a treat. They do have American kids meals available if needed, grill cheese, hot dog, nuggets, but I can’t imagine the kids wouldn’t like the Butter Chicken which comes in a creamy sauce if you want to have them try out Indian food along with the plain Naan bread. Open for Lunch Tues-Sat 11:30am to 2:30pm and 12:00 noon to 3:00pm Sunday, and opens again for Dinner Tues.- Sunday 4:30pm to 9:00pm. Currently closed on Monday. I recommend this clean, friendly, tasty restaurant.

Absolute delicious Indian food! As soon as we walked in, we knew we had found a great place. The smell alone made your belly growl and everything was very clean and spotless! Kids that are picky eaters can order a grilled cheese while the adults eat the good stuff. We ordered chicken tikka masala- mild and coconut curry- medium. Perfect fresh flavors and absolutely delicious. We left full without feeling gross from greasy food!

Stopped by while on a day trip. This was FANTASTIC. The staff was knowledgeable about gluten free food and the meals were delicious. It was SO good that I requested a special dish I order at home – they made it and it was scrumptious. Our kids (6 and 4) also enjoyed it. Service was prompt, courteous, accommodating. Loved it.

We ate Indian food weekly when we lived up north… and have found some decent places in our area of FL … but we stumbled upon Island Spice during a trip to AMI and WOW! — Seriously the best Indian I’ve had in a long time. Everything was super fresh- definitely home made.. and something in their sauces.. was just more flavorful than I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back!

Just had a wonderful dinner with my daughter and her boyfriend. Loved the Mango Lassi and Mint Cooler. Ordered Tandoori Chicken, Mango Ginger Chicken and Butter Chicken, they were all flavorful and delicious. Our server David was very pleasant and good. Best Indian Restaurant in Anna Maria Island.
