the food was so good i finished a taco standing in the kitchen…i felt i couldn’t sit down. i devoured it then realized i should take a picture. same thing happened with the churros
i got two lengua tacos, a pollo quesadilla, and churros…the quesadilla was for my boyfriend but you know i had to take one. everything was so good and amazingly made. definitely one of the best tacos i’ve had! this will definitely be a go to spot now. the prices are reasonable especially for a local truck, i spent $27 for everything and it was totally worth it! especially for 6 churros

What a great spot! Tacos and churros were amazing! This place was recommended by another restaurant (Big Whiskey BBQ) and the steak tacos were amazing. Friendly staff and I would come again if I’m in Richmond again

Moving here from SoCal made me miss not a thing… except for a lack of good “homemade” feel truck-in-parking-lot atmosphere Mexican food. And then I found this specific truck in a BP parking lot. I travel far and wide for to come to this truck and never once have I left disappointed or even merely satisfied with my experience, in fact, I am usually bursting with what feels like an illegal amount of joy from every bite of torta I can shove into my mouth. I revolve my entire life around this truck, when I’m not actively eating from it, I am thinking about eating here. And when Im not awake to be thinking about it, I am dreaming of it. Cycle repeats. I actually, highly suggest NOT coming here, because if you do, you wont think about anything else. If you do accept this fate, bring cash. It doesnt cost you extra for card, but the hardworking dudes bringing you the most amazing tortas in your life deserve to have cash. So bring cash.

Love this food truck. Just got a lot of snow affecting the area. Schools closed for 3 days. Chicfila normally open ‘til 10pm is closed early at 7:30pm. This place? Cranking out great food just like always. I go once a month – more in the summer months.

Great cooks, great service, great experience! Huge portions, got bbq nachos and elotes to split between 2 people and had plenty of leftovers. The guys at the truck helped us figure out what we wanted and we’re so friendly, definitely coming back! If you’re hesitant to give El Chido a shot, this is your sign. RUN don’t walk to their little truck now!!!

I ordered for the first time steak and cheese quesadilla. I also had tres leches cake. This establishment did not disappoint. They will bring it to your car so you can stay cool.in the heat. I have enough quesadilla for a second meal. The staff were polite and helpful. The refried beans I added were very flavorful as well.

Good place to stop in if you want a nice no fuss experience. Serving sizes are good and the prices were decent. The food had authentic flavors and service was nice, with them bringing the food out to your car. Not the best I’ve ever eaten, but also not near the worst, and I will probably get food from there again.
