Best breakfast tacos in Austin! The salsas are super good, the Vaquero and Migas are the real deal. Freddy is a great guy and is very friendly. I’ve never thought I’d find good tacos in Austin, but these beat other great breakfast tacos in Texas easily.

We were just passing through town and decided to give a food truck a shot this time. Even though it was 1pm, we were craving some breakfast food. I ordered a migas without onions, please . My mom went for a barbacoa in a corn tortilla – she’s quite picky, but even she couldn’t resist taking a bite of mine and wanting one for herself. The barbacoa, alambre (chorizo, beef, sausage, bacon), shrimp taco – all wrapped in a flour tortilla – were all amazing. I will definitely be coming back. Great place!

We live nearby so frequently visit for breakfast tacos. The eggs are great, the owner is really friendly, and there’s a couple of outdoor tables to sit at. Overall recommend!
I’m begging you guys to use better tortillas though, the current ones are cold and extremely store bought in flavor – It’s the one thing holding these tacos back from being some of the best in the area! Even slightly toasting them or switching to HEB flour tortillas could make a huge difference

I came to Austin for a week and luckily discovered Chyngon early, so I have been back 4 times.
I love the Chyngon Burrito ( add some chorizo!)
I with Freddy could bring his food to Durango, CO.

Friendly guys making great tacos. I went for breakfast for the first time this Sunday when I woke up. The eggs and ingredients are fluffy and fresh. Just one would be very filling, but I had bought two and saved it for later.
With this place just 4 minutes from where I live, I’m definitely going back to try more.

Hidden treasure! We originally were going to eat somewhere else but the wait was over an hour. We googled to see what else was nearby. The name caught my eye and then the reviews were excellent.
I ordered the Beef Fajita burrito and hubby ordered the ATX burrito. We thoroughly enjoyed them, they were huge and sooo tasty. Everything was fresh and felt like they were made with love. Hubby loved the green chile salsa too. Customer service was top shelf.
I thought the neighborhood was a bit sketchy but I guess it just looks like it. We’ll be back!

Delicious breakfast tacos! Their bacon is whole slices, not chopped up/pre-prepared. Staff were friendly. Amazing green salsa. I just moved close to this trailer, I will be here often!

Picked up 3 tacos from Chyngon for brunch. This place serves up pretty big tacos, but the quality was a little below what I hoped for and also a bit pricey at $5+. Neither of their tortillas are homemade, the cheese tasted like it was from H-E-B. I tried their migas, al pastor, and alambre. I would rate them in that order. Both of their salsas were good. I would have preferred a little more heat from their poblano.

I’ve lived in this area for 2 years and I wish I would’ve tried this place sooner! Very solid breakfast tacos and delicious salsas. The only reasons I knocked one star off are because I wish the tortillas were homemade, and I wish they cooked the chorizo in with the eggs. But overall it was delicious and I will be back!
