Just had three of the tastiest empanadas I have ever had on the east coast!
After living in the southwest for twelve years I have had a hard time finding a spot that serves the perfect empanada. Well, I found it!
I also had a wonderful time chatting with Nick. He provided excellent service and company while I warmed up from the subzero temperatures we’ve all been experiencing this past week.
Speaking of sub zero, there are chilled empanadas available to heat up whenever you like at home.
So, if you’re not hungry now definitely grab some for later.

Unique empanadas that are always delicious. The flavors aren’t the typical ones you expect, and that’s exactly what makes them such a gem. I’ll admit I was hesitant at first to try combinations I’d never heard of since I’m a bit picky, but after tasting a bunch, I trust them because they always deliver. They’re consistent not just in quality, but in bringing out thoughtful new products. The team is made up of genuinely good people who support the community, which says a lot, especially when running a business is so expensive these days. Service is always respectful, friendly, and consistently wonderful.

My husband and I have been frequenting Buenas since they first opened. We’ve done everything from the home delivery during the beginning of Covid to the fridge to the dog empanadas. We’ve also had a great experience. Everyone who has ever worked there has been wonderful. The empanadas are not for everyone (don’t think traditional), but they are delicious.

Recently visited their Bow Market shop and tried a variety of empanada delights. Every single bite was perfection! The fillings were so flavorful and creative! You can tell the care that goes into making each of their empanadas. Also great Pebre and Chimi, staples now in our home. Staff is exceptional and friendly. Can’t wait to go back.

We got their hotdogs wrapped in empanada dough, ham and cheese, beef, and spinach and cheese empanadas 2 each). The beef was the best of all, but none of them were very good. They were so so and all of the dough was somewhat undercooked.
