Okay, look. We drive almost two hours just to grab a sub from here. Yeah, you read that right. It’s our absolute favorite spot, period.

Several of us rode to Capones. We had a large group. Everyone’s food looked and smelled delicious. Everyone said their food was delicious!
My husband and I order the godfather and Italian . The subs are very reasonably priced. The subs did not disappoint, probably one of the best subs I have had. Very fresh bread , generous portions of meat and cheese . So incredibly delicious!!
We didn’t try the desserts but they looked amazing. We will be back to try them.
Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back , it was worth the 30 min drive !!

We tried Capones on the West side for the first time Tues evening. They are a nice little Italian eatery that originated in Penfield and has went viral as of late with some of their unique offerings. We were familiar with the location here in Spencerport from visiting under the prior ownership. The location is conveniently located on W.Ridge Rd heading West just past 259. It has plenty of parking and it’s an easy in out for those on foot or even by wheelchair. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We were helped right away and they got the food out fast. We had the Meatball Parm sub, The Vodka Chicken and Pesto Cutlet sub and we tried their Cheesecake filled burned sugar cones for dessert. The subs were very big and full. On the Meatball, the meatballs were fresh, homemade and the sauce and cheese were plentiful. This was our favorite. Great flavor! The Vodka Chicken Cutlet was a little underwhelming. While it was also very filling the chicken cutlet was a little dried out and almost had a burnt flavor to it. There also wasn’t much Vodka sauce on the sub at all nor did I pick up on any hints of the Pesto. I’m guessing it was a down evening for that particular sub as we’ve heard nothing but good things about it. We’ll give it one more shot another time. The dessert was amazing! Not too sweet, creamy, rich and just the perfect little dessert to wash everything down with. Normally I’d walk out of a place like that with a Cannoli but after trying this delicious little pastry i’m not sure there is any turning back! Overall, we’re excited to have them on the west side and we look forward to trying their pizza and other offerings ASAP. Definitely worth checking out if you are on the West side!

Ordered 2 subs… one BLT which was decent… one chicken parm.. husband said it was horrible! Daughter ordered a 3 cheese calzone… not good at all… no taste.. dough was soggy and so wet it was not even edible! Now let’s get on to the dessert… 2 cheese cake cones… I’m not sure if these are made in house… but they are not good.. not at all!!! The cannoli didn’t even taste like cannoli cream.. it was gritty and nasty!! So … 87.00 later… and we won’t be back!!

Grand opening is May 17th. But don’t wait. This is now my favorite pizza in Rochester! Separate from the other locations, he uses a multi cheese mix, it’s perfect. The sauce was balanced just right and very smooth. I also had the Vodka sauce chicken Parm with pesto and WOW, it was great! We didn’t get the desert but are already making plans to come back for the home made cheesecake. And did I mention the fresh baked bread, yeah they bake their own rolls. This is definitely a go to for me now.

Large sub had plenty of chicken and right amount of sauces. Very surprised at how good it actually was.
