This place is right next to smashburgers and they were closing right when I walked in. The cook made a choice and helped serve me even though they were beginning to close. He fed me after a long day and I will remember his dedication for my whole time here for work. Nice job Jimmyjohn’s staff!

I’m really surprised by the reviews for this location. Every time we come we receive wonderful service, it’s always clean and tidy and the food is fresh.
Jimmy John’s isn’t known for the cheapest subs and I can understand why some may be upset from the reviews but what you receive in quality and freshness isn’t something you can consistently expect at other sub locations.

07/27/2025 at 8 pm- Valkyrie was absolutely horrible. She never greeted us, never made eye contact, and when spoken to never answered. Looked completely miserable and her energy did not meet up to the Jimmy Johns experience every customer looks forward too. Please correct your attitude or get another job!

first time delivered my order with no meat and wrong drink. sent a replacement order and driver just threw it on my porch and didn’t even knock meaning i had no idea it had arrived. it sat out there for who knows how long in 80 degree heat until i called (now a full hour after ordering) to ask where it was so by the time i actually got it the sandwich was warm and inedible. really incredibly ridiculous guys come on

I come to this location probably once every other week and it’s a favorite of our office. As of late it seems it’s been a changing staff. The other day I stopped in for a sandwich for myself and my coworker and it was slammed. The staff was very overwhelmed but working the best they could given the circumstances. One patron apparently felt he waited to long for his sandwich and upon receiving and exiting felt it necessary to rip the newly placed “please wear a mask” sign off the wall and throw it in the garbage. Somebody was hangry!!! I waited probably 15-20 minutes for the sandwich’s and pickle but it’s cool. The staff was so distressed and kept mixing up to go orders with the patrons standing by for food (which was what happened to my order it was actually finished earlier but placed in a bag not on the counter). The quality of the food really doesn’t waiver at this location it’s always solid. I can tell the hiring shortage is definitely affecting this location. I ask the owner to please take care of your staff as best you can and make them feel as confident as possible dealing with the heavy rush. Thanks for being there!

Very pricey sandwiches for what you actually get. The bread was hard, the meat was sparse and very unsatisfying. Most definitely could have spent my money on a more worth while lunch elsewhere.

I don’t eat Jimmy Johns often, but when I do I know I can count on my Louisville team to be there quick and accurate to satisfy a craving. I would almost never leave a review for a fast casual or fast food shop, but I have to say something. Today’s experience was a gold star example of excellent customer service – and I would know, I spent years in retail. Small things matter: I was trying to decide between a cookie or chips, but I can be particular. Bert (I think that’s the manager’s name) was very patient and super friendly. He went above and beyond asking if I like cookies, etc… and it was just a great experience. The staff seemed happy and I’m not surprised because their manager seemed awesome. Great work crew!

This place knows how to make a roast beef! Also like to give appreciation to the boy working there who was very warm and friendly and the girl who got my sandwich out before I was done paying. That’s how you run a good business I think some places need to take notes (not naming names )
