I love this DD, but the last two times I’ve came through the drive-thru they have forgot half my order. And it’s very frustrating and inconvenient when I have two toddlers in my car & can’t get out, to run inside to correct it. So I have to wait through the drive-thru line AGAIN, to have them fix my order. Literally missing half my order, twice in one week.

So I went through the drive-through and picked up these “specialty donuts,” which I feel is nothing special. A little extra frosting for an extra seven dollars? No variety all white, no chocolate, or sprinkles. When I asked cashier about them, she said there would be gingerbread and a mixture of donuts, but this is what I got. So, heads-up these speciality donuts are not worth the extra $$$.

I made the trip to the new Dunkin Donuts in Dixon. I haven’t been to a Dunkin in years and was really looking forward to the Sunday morning donuts I remembered from when I was younger. Those donuts are gone and have been replaced with donuts made somewhere else and trucked in. Don’t get me wrong, they are good, just not good like they were made fresh in house and served possibly still warm. Aside from the $15 price tag for a dozen donuts that weren’t anything special, the store is nice, the girl who helped me was great and the whole process was relatively quick. I will be back in the future I’m sure.

Literally asked for two drinks that where on the menu today and was told they no longer serve them drinks. Why isn’t the board updated, went through a line that you had to sit in because there’s no out took me 10 minutes to leave the drive through with no order.

Order was wrong, when I pointed this out the person at the window confirmed the ticket/reciept didnt match the items recieved and just stared at me like he was lost. So I pulled back around talked to the order kiosk and a new person showed up and corrected it. Shouldnt be this hard, quit hiring idiots.

I went through the drive through and ordered a shakin’ espresso. I asked for light ice. However, the cup was 3/4 full of ice… the amount of actual coffee was only enough for 10 sips.

Update: stopped in to use the Monday coffee deal for rewards customers. I was the only customer in the store and asked questions about how it worked. The lady working seemed annoyed and did not want to help.
She was working the inside and answering the drive. A lady came in after me and ordered and she also seemed annoyed. I’m unsure of their exchange, but she whispered to me “she shouldn’t be answering that headset while taking our orders”.
She didn’t mix my iced coffee all the way. Was annoyed I forgot to ask for sugar.
For a muffin and iced coffee it took almost 10 minutes and I was the only person that was in there. I didn’t get the Monday coffee deal or any help with it either.

She was always so sweet and fri3ndly and on point w her service!
Staff is always friendly and patient. Donuts are fresh. Coffee is good. Cheaper than Starbucks. Getting in and out can be a bit of a pain because of the set up, but it’s not that bad.
UPDATE: after many lost power in the Sauk Valley area it seems they went to DD for breakfasr/coffee. They were super busy and the staff handled it graciously! They moved through the line quickly, I didn’t hear of any errors in anyone’s orders. They were quickly running through items, but weren’t out. The staff had smiles on their faces and were working hard. It was great to see the team effort they were putting in to serve everyone!

I don’t want to say I’m a coffee snob but if I am in town I am always grabbing a coffee from somewhere. Dunkin coffee isn’t at the top of my favorite list but the customer service this store has is amazing! They are so friendly and I have never had an order wrong or when I end up having my order door dashed everything is packaged and handled with care.
