Walked to this restaurant/bar twice from my hotel while on business from the Midwest. I don’t speak Spanish, yet all the patrons and staff do! Everyone was super friendly, and I thoroughly enjoyed being immersed in music, people and food heavily influenced by the Caribbean & Central America. I don’t write reviews often, but WOW! This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. When I tried to put in this review after my meal, I seen that it only had 4.2 stars. When I asked the hostess how could this be, she told me that the restaurant is now under a new management and has completely changed directions.
I cannot speak on the past, but if my current experience at this restaurant is the new norm, then I wish you guys nothing but success!

A very good place to have a beer, very quiet; but the food was horrible, especially now that they have daily specials. I ordered some grilled pork chops with white rice and beans: the rice was okay, the beans were just boiled with no flavor at all… but the worst was when I tried the meat, how horrible, the pork chop was rotten. When I put that in my mouth and bit into it, I almost threw up in front of everyone. The waitress was very kind and went to talk to the person in charge; it seemed to me she already knew about the condition of the meat… luckily, she didn’t want to charge me for the spoiled food.

The music in this place is at 120 all the time, not sure why it is so loud at all hours of day. Nothing but people ordering buckets of beer. And tons of single men hitting on anything with legs. Atmosphere is terrible. Hate the low end crowd.

Upon recent visit and disappointment, I must edit.
The food is decent. Just be careful when ordering to go. Always make sure it’s all there before leaving the establishment.
Be very careful with the service and server. I have noticed now that the nicer the server, the bigger the tab. It’s very disappointing to realize you are being over charged. And my rationale for that is I always ask for 2 bills, food and Drinks apart. This was my second time. My test to Theory and it proved correct. Hence, I will no longer be visiting this establishment. Be careful how you stray and do not get involved as it will render quite expensive.
The Atmosphere is fair. However, why is it allowing for a stray to enter and solicit tips from costumers who are already paying premiums. That and the fact they have a DJ, whose uselessness should not be considered because even if he’s playing trash, in still in house. Rather disappointing but it is what it is.

Place has decent Spanish food but the prices are a bit too high for the area. You can definitely find these entrees in a mom & pop Spanish spot and still get the delicious flavors.
Cool thing about this spot though it gets packed for soccer games and has a really nice sport bar ambiance. Drinks (alcoholic) are solid, they’re more of a beer place though.
Good dish to get from here is the yuca with chicharrón, this plate is huge enough to share with 4 people -definitely delicious. Ropa vieja was good too and came with two sides. Pupusas were solid as well.
Delivery wise they suck. They’re inconsistent, like one day they’ll have delivery and next they don’t so just be cautious of that. OR they’ll have delivery at certain times of the day. It’s quite annoying.
