Wow, what a beautiful pastrami sandwich (half) and matzo ball soup! Also had a hot tea and lovely dessert. What a nice and relaxing environment! Thanks! (Glad we got your hours updated on Google maps!)

Our server was friendly, kind and helpful. The food was fabulous. Try the pastrami and schnitzel. My friends also raved about the BLT – “this is the best BLT I’ve ever had”. Classic pickles were free. Pricey, but totally worth it. Oh, and it’s kosher!

Wow, really great lunch! Pastrami sandwich is the star of the show with the Matzo Ball soup a close second. Only has about 5 tables but great service.

I had THE BEST pastrami sandwich I have ever had in my life… for now. I ordered the Chef David’s Special Pastrami Sandwich. We were also very well taken care of! Be aware though that this place is a pretty pricey.$$$

Tried to find a decent pastrami sandwich so I looked up reviews and found this gem. The sandwiches were great but what really made it special were the soups. We had the split pea, the Matzo ball and the ginger soup and all were unbelievably delicious. The waitstaff was outstanding and kept the waters full after long walks through New York and the restaurant was well designed and super clean.

I became kosher a couple years ago and didn’t realize I could get food just AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER than what I was used to. Katz’s, you have competition, kindelah!

Just checked out this place and had some thoughts. The service is friendly and responsive! The food (tried two of their starters) was delicious. However there was one glaring issue: the portion size was dismal for the price point. For a dish that costs $20 bucks, one shouldn’t be able to finish it in three bites. I don’t yet have experience with their main dishes but if their appetizers are any indication, chances are you’re getting a lot less “bang for your buck” than you expect. Attached is a photo of both appetizers, and their respective size…

Remarkable place! Their employees offer service beyond expectations. The place creates a good mood and serves quality meals. Their meals are outstanding and appropriately priced. I found myself genuinely impressed by this place.

The food is great, but the reliability that they are open is nothing short of luck. I’ve tried to go 5 times now and they have only been open once. No update on their socials or website that they will be closed. I don’t know how a business can run this way but I’m trying my hardest to give them business so that a good restaurant stays open in FiDi.

The owner and staff were amazing, accommodating us even through they had a private party. Everyone was pleasant, and the food was outstanding! I haven’t had pastrami that tender in quite some time.
