I DARE YOU…To find a place that offers tge QUALITY, PRICE, QUANTITY OF FOOD and local atmosphere of GRAVY DAVE’S!! on heck of a Good place to stop for breakfast and or lunch! My all time favorite is the blue skillet special! A mountain skillet of, hash browns, sausage, bacon, eggs, gravy and cheese… with toast!! ALL FOR $13!! and change!!I I eat 1/2 and am satisfied, bring the rest home in a to go box and reheat it up for lunch, or a full breakfast the next morning!! And it’s still just as good as when I ordered it the morning before!

This place is cute but I don’t think anyone would call it ‘good’. Most of the food is definitely “high school cafeteria” Sysco Systems stuff, but sometimes that kind of overly-processed stuff really hits the spot. This is the kind of place that makes Kraft macaroni and cheese and serves it as a dinner dish. Good? No. Nostalgic and satisfying? Yup. Since they have drasticaly cut their open hours though, I never make it in anymore. The new hours just don’t work for anyone who gets home from a full workday. It’s a shame.
I used to bring friends here on weekends for breakfast or brunch when they visited from out of town, which is now no longer possible. I used to grab lunch on a Saturday which is now no longer possible. I used to come here at least two or three times a week for a quick dinner after a long work day since I live less than ten blocks away, which is now no longer possible.
It’s frustrating, because even despite the low-quality fare, I was a regular. Now their hours basically remove any chance I have to support them. I’ll be genuinely disappointed when they inevitably go out of business, but they’ve made it almost impossible for people with normal work schedules to show up. I’m sure there are legit business reasons for these changes, but I’m bummed that I am no longer able to go here.
