The chicken fajitas were absolutely amazing! The pinto beans were so delicious! I don’t even like beans like that, but I ate all of my beans because they were that good. I enjoyed my free Margarita as well!

The atmosphere was great, but I had much higher hopes for the food. It wasn’t “bad” food, but it was very bland. The least bland item we had was the red sauce (it was spicy). We had queso, enchiladas and fajitas. My husband said the fajitas were strange, as far as they weren’t cooked like normal fajitas; whereas, instead of cooking one large piece then cutting them, he said it seemed like he cut the strips first before cooking. Also, the queso was just cheese, as you can see in pictures. That didn’t bother me, since I pick around the peppers anyway.
The price was fine, and service was great. Just not as great as some of the other TexMex in town.

Service is top notch. I had the chilequines with steak. Guys, the beef is sirloin seasoned and cooked to perfection. I also had the charro beans which also were flavorful, but needed salt. Over all, everything needed salt except for the beef.

Stopped for lunch in Nacogdoches and tried Papi’s. They had a good lunch menu and I liked their beef and bean burrito. Service was excellent. We were pleased with our choice.

Today was our first time trying Papi’s and WOW. The service was unbelievably great. We received our food in record time and it was piping hot. We must have just beat the lunch crowd because it started filling up fast as we were leaving. My only complaint is that tue queso was pretty watery and thin, but everything else was great. We had the mixed grill, beer fajita chimichanga, and the grande with cheese enchiladas. Will definitely be back!

Went in for a late lunch. We were seated right away. The service was fast. We received our food quickly. Nice little place in downtown.

We’ve passed this spot multiple times, and tonight we decided to stop in after taking a stroll around the square.
Immediately warmly greeted and seated. The menu has many options (which we can’t wait to come back and try everything) and it smells like Tia’s kitchen, so hunger pains start hitting quick.
Our server Naara was very informative with the selections and pointed us in the right direction. Soon enough we had plates filled to the edge with deliciousness. Every bite was was amazing. This is the spot to be for authentic Mexican cuisine in Nacadoches.
