They were made fresh to order. Huge juicy chicken breast for the chicken sandwich. The coleslaw is super flavorful. Chicken wings and tenders are all very juicy, and quite large. Fast friendly service. Jerry’s fries were fantastic. It’s a bed of fries, topped with juicy chunks of chicken breast topped with Jerry’s sauce and cheese. The beef dumplings were crispy, chewy and delicious. Get some soy garlic sauce to dip them in, that sauce is amazing. The pickles were super crunchy and delicious and not too salty which was a very refreshing surprise. There’s comfortable seating area inside while you wait for your order. Definitely will be back to try more stuff.
The chicken is cooked fresh, so there was a bit of a wait. The wait was well worth it!!!!
Portions were huge !!! The chicken was cooked to perfection, and the flavor was spot on. I’m so happy to have tried this place.
The establishment was clean and had a few chairs so that you could sit and wait while your food was being cooked. It is not an eat in establishment.
Parking can be a bit challenging as it’s street parking only.
Food: We ordered 3 x A1. Chicken Sandwiches (Hot). If you eat a lot of spicy food and are used to it, I would recommend Extra Hot, otherwise if you like spicy food go for Hot. The sandwiches are really big so we were full with just the sandwich LOL. Totally worth the money. (5/5)
Service: I’ve noticed that in a lot of take out places, the food isn’t packed well, so I have sauce running over the packing and fries running around the bag but they packed each sandwich carefully and mess-free! (5/5)
I believe this used to be a Korean fried chicken place that rebranded. This is a good thing. I phoned in my order as with most places that fry on the spot; they need 20 minutes.
Got the Jerry’s hot chicken A1($9.99), and W1(Originally 3 piece but this changed to 6 piece wings, also $9.99). I see why the number of wings changed, it was originally 3 whole wings but has changed to 6 wings that are drum and flats. Both came with fries, they seem handcut but not really crispy. Still pretty good.
Reading over the reviews I went with extra hot on both orders, it’s got a good kick but not unbearable. I would say if you order two things, get it done hot one way and extra hot the other. The sandwich was as expected, fantastic with the jerry’s sauce and massive. The wings have a nice texture and would seem to be a bit on the saltier side. I’m ok with that but I think the order would be perfect if they gave a side of the jerry’s sauce to dunk the wings with.
Parking is across the street and there is no place to eat there, it’s pretty much a takeout only spot. Final verdict, this place is solid, give this mom and pop spot a try!
Chicken was soaked in grease and the Mild flavor tasted more like extra salt. Was also very inconsistent; one piece would taste like no seasoning and another would taste very salty. Trying to eat more than two pieces of chicken becomes sickening.
The fries were mostly fine, not really any complaints there. Mild flavoring but more than what was on the chicken.
The waffles were offensive and insulting at best. The picture posted is the waffle served to us, matched up to the Eggo waffle box. I promise this was what was served and I happened to have an Eggo box in the house to compare it to.
They didn’t even try; the waffle was more than likely microwaved and they have the gall to charge money for syrup but serve a packet of honey and butter.
There was a piece of wheat bread at the bottom of the chicken. You couldn’t see it in the picture and I originally thought they forgot the “white bread” until I saw it laying under the grease pile of chicken. One half of the bread had chicken skin stuck to it and the other half was soggy. I did take a bite just for the sake of it and the bread was dry to the point of no return.
At least the Oreo shake was normal; it saved my taste buds from the atrocity that was whatever served to me.
Shortly after, a few friends in our group experienced some not-so-pleasant after effects. I understand everyone is different with fried foods but it was just the icing on the cake to everything we went through.
I’m not really sure how there are so many high reviews calling this “the best chicken” but I don’t blame them if all they’ve ever had in life is KFC and Popeyes (of which serve a better product on a given day).
It seems like it was genuine and good chicken at raw, ruined by the hands of this establishment. I didn’t want to leave such a poor review but my hands were forced. Please stop serving insulting waffles and inconsistent & extremely salty chicken
Unbelievably crispy — the crunch was so loud it almost hurt my ears (in the best way possible). The sauce was a unique sweet-and-spicy combo, and most importantly, the chicken was super juicy and fresh. They don’t pre-fry anything; everything is made to order, so it takes a bit of time, but honestly, it’s worth the wait. If you’re in a rush, just call ahead and pick it up fresh.
You can tell they use quality ingredients or maybe really clean oil — either way, it felt light and easy on the stomach, which is rare with fried chicken. This wasn’t your typical fried chicken; it was something new and different.
We had half Jerry’s Original and half Korean-style (mild), and both were fantastic. The portions were huge — more than enough for four people. Compared to a popular buffalo wing chain I tried a few days ago, Jerry’s chicken was not only juicier and bigger but also way more satisfying. The wings I had before were decent and felt cleanly cooked, but the serving was tiny. Jerry’s is in another league when it comes to value.
Parking was super easy — there’s street parking and even a municipal lot right across the street.
On top of that, the service was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make the experience welcoming and enjoyable.
Portions are generous, prices are more than fair, and the overall quality is unbeatable. I can’t rave about this place enough—it’s a must-visit
