(Sweet rice.) It was a great meal for the price!
One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve tried lately. It’s definitely worth the visit. Besides all of their awesome lunch specials, they also have a different variety of other dishes on their menu. If you like Indian food, then you should give Himalayan Aroma Restaurant a try. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I know that we weren’t disappointed.
We will be back.
Quick and friendly service is always appreciated. But after I ordered, I got a small bowl of lentil soup which I was not expecting. Somewhat light on lentils but not on taste I enjoyed this light appetizer. I ordered the Chicken Sekuwa from the special dishes page and it is offered with rice or naan. While you can get rice anytime naan is less available. And as you can see in the picture, they give you a huge portion of naan. Another surprise was the sauteed, thinly sliced peppers and onions on the sizzling cast iron skillet the chicken was served on. And all this at a very affordable price. I will return next time I’m in town.
We usually have our favorite Indian dishes that we order at every single Indian restaurant, butter, Tikka masala and korma, along with a variation of rice and naan and an extra plate we order as appetizers, this time it was chicken momo.
Food was great, as we were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary lentil soup which was super tasty. Our food arrived and it was amazing, not a super fan of the momos but they were good too. Curries were tasty, super creamy and a good amount of protein.
All entrees include an option of rice or naan.
