Was visiting in Anderson and this place caught us by surprise. There was this fun Grinched themed Christmas tree when you first walk in, then a beautiful and vibrant space to dine in. I loved the menus because they were so colorful and had pictures which is always helpful. They had a lunch menu available and a lot of options to pick from. I was very happy with my choice of the pork plate with rice and I also got the Mexican chicken soup. Hubby got 3 taco plate and MIL got the taco salad. They give you a big chips and salsa to start and also had an amazing salsa bar. Our server was so nice and attentive to our needs. We were pleasantly surprised by this experience and really enjoyed the food. It was also only $55 for the 3 of us for lunch so you can’t beat that! Can’t wait to come back!

We had such an amazing experience here celebrating our son’s birthday. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. The food was the best we’ve had in Anderson. All of the meat was very flavorful and the sauces were so fresh. The entire restaurant was very clean and Gorgeous!
Even the bathroom looked and smelled good.

We love this place! I get the skirt steak. It’s always fantastic. The beans are amazing. The rice is good. The salad has fresh avocado. My husband gets the El Jimador special which has steak, chicken, and shrimp with rice, tortillas and salad. They have a salsa bar with lots or tasty mild or hot salsa. I also love their street corn!!

My boyfriend had the enchilada and beef taco combo plate with refried beans and rice, and it was absolutely delicious! I tried the seafood tacos (two shrimp and one fish), and each entree was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The chips came out warm, and the salsa was bright and full of flavor—such a great start to the meal.
Not only was the food outstanding, but the service and presentation were top-notch as well. Everything arrived quickly, beautifully plated, and with a genuine smile.
This place is definitely a gem in the area—highly recommend if you’re craving authentic, flavorful Mexican food with excellent service! ✨

If I could give 6 stars, I would. By far the best Mexican food, restaurant and service I have ever had, and I have been to a lot of Mexican restaurants. Started off, Camille greeted us with a smiling face and was very friendly. Next, Govani was our server and by far the best server ever! He was attentive, and overall just wonderful. We also met Hilda who was working the bar. She was so very kind and had a great spirit about her. I wish every restaurant had the attentiveness of the staff and quality of food. If I had to describe visiting a restaurant, this is the textbook experience. And on a side note, we looked like a disaster having just left being at rock the country concert all day. Absolutely wonderful!

One of the best experiences with a franchised name. Luis the manger was a superb waiter and epic host. The prices are very reasonable. The food was amazing with great presentation. All the Vegetables were fresh!! The atmosphere was super nice and had a flare about it. The Chirizo was house made and not greasy, the chips are generic but the home made salsa makes them pop!!

Everything about eating here is TOP TIER. We’ve been twice this week alone. Excellent service, delicious food, awesome salsa bar, even the water tastes great! The restaurant is a great vibe and very clean inside. Large and affordable portions, ready fast. This has quickly become our favorite Mexican place.

Recently moved to SC. Tacos are my favorite food. First time eating El Jimador Elegante and i was very impressed. We ordered take out. I had the birria tacos and they were delicious. The beef and cheese nachos were top notch…simple but full of flavor. The staff greeted me with a smile and excellent customer service. Good food and good service = I’ll be ordering from there again.

The food is L.A., DC, or NY quality and presentation. Glad to know Anderson is stepping up.
The atmosphere is relaxing and classy. I am considering renting out the top space for my birthday next year, it was that stunning.
What an enjoyable experience with the most delicious food! The bread and spreads they serve when you are seated was perfect!
We will be going back regularly to try the entire menu!
