We spent $70 on two baskets (with sides and drinks) and a cup of gumbo. My husband is not only from Louisiana but also a chef and was extremely excited to try Lerouxs food. He was expecting to feel that extreme southern comfort , he had at home. Unfortunately, he was very unhappy with just about everything we ordered. The fish was Extremely fishy, almost pungent, the chicken was okay, the etoufee was not only as pungent as the fish, but so thick it was almost paste, the Mac and cheese was even worse. The tartar sauce was the worst I’ve had.
I really enjoyed the Heaux sauce and corn bread.
Gumbo had great flavor, but was a bit greasy, roux wasn’t think enough for our liking.

Always a go to when we’re in Tulsa. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious Might be a small wait but the food is worth every minute. Take a walk around Mother road while you wait and check out all the other vendors.

I love this place, I really do. The chicken and the gumbo never miss. Yall really need to look into your fish though. This is two times in a row it is so pungent and fishy and neither catfish nor shrimp should be tasting that way. There are other reviews saying the same. I’m exhaling and can only taste the smell of the fish section at the grocery store. I think it’s either old fish or spoiled fish or frozen but it does not match the quality of everything else yall serve and the effort yall put it. Please do better.

Firstly the people were amazing. The vibes/energy the atmosphere gave off made you feel serene. The food was heaven sent and fresh. You can tell they not only serve food but the customer as well. Will definitely be coming back and somebody back there knows how to throw down on some peach cobbler. The ball is in their court, everyone should be all in favor, and I rest my case!

This place is a must try kind of place! Everything was amazing! We tried the Duo Catfish and Chicken basket. I couldn’t believe how much food I received. The Lagniappe fries were some of the best. The cornbread muffin had hot honey on it and was a nice treat. Lots of amazing sauces to choose from as well. Heaux was definitely my favorite. Going to try the Seafood Gumbo on my next visit.

Everything I’ve had has been delicious. I typically go with the 2pc catfish 2pc chicken basket, which with the side and cornbread is enough food for two or a meal and leftovers. Nice and chill people always serving.
