My wife and I share an enjoyment of going out to breakfast together now that we’re retired and we stopped by Farmtown restaurant and have to say it was the best breakfast we’ve had in a long time. The bacon was crisp and tasty and great kielbasa, but I’m a potato home fries guy and they were also tasty and cut large and perfectly cooked without onions and peppers, the way I love them ( just potatoes). Of course the eggs were also great and the whole wheat toast was extra tasty from a local bakery and soft with plenty of butter. Everything I’ve said positive I have found negative at other breakfast restaurants in the Hartford area. My wife and I will be regulars here from now on.

Wonderful food the chef does an excellent job with flavor! Prices are so reasonable. Coffee was great and smooth. As a local place this is a great choice for breakfast and doesn’t break the bank!
We went on a Friday and though busy we were greeted with a smile. There was only one waitress and helper so service was a little slow understandably.
I ordered eggs over easy(cooked perfect), rye toast (excellent, seeded ,not dry) hash browns (flavorful & delicious) and a side of biscuit and gravy. Best I’ve had in a long time (not the southern gravy, but just as good if not better).
Husband had the pancakes (huge and delicious) and a sausage, egg cheese on hard roll excellent, hot and fresh.
Wonderful experience overall! Hats off to an amazing chef! I know well be coming back again.

Went for breakfast this morning & had a great time. This place is small town homey! (not for pretentious people) The restaurant is on the smaller side, wait-staff are friendly & attentive. It was the other people we met there who really made the trip worthwhile to sit at the breakfast bar & chat while eating fresh, good food! 10/10 Would go there again!

Roast beef omelet was excellent. Rye toast was extra good. Nice seeded flavorful Rye. Potatoes were steaming hot even half way through the meal. Waffle wasn’t my type of waffle. Too fluffy and thick but if you’re into that then taste wise it was fine, nothing to write home about. Hot coffee was basically hot water with the essence of coffee. That’s mainly why I gave them a 4 star. Omelet was definitely the star of the show. You can tell that’s absolutely what they do well. I must of told the girlfriend how good it was 20 times during the meal. That poor woman.

First time in this little diner, and I will honestly say, “It won’t be the last” by a long shot. Got a special because I was stuck between the two, and they actually went with it to accommodate what I wanted. The food was fantastic, and the prices are pretty good, too, considering the huge heap of food that comes on your plate. Beth, our waitress this time was also a sweetheart and helped with anything we needed. So yeah, come in, stop by, check this little place out, it’s going to be worth every cent you spend.

Saturday morning I came in for breakfast with my family and when we came in we noticed that it was freezing cold when asked why the heat wasn’t on we were told it was not in service in the mean time my food was getting cold also so we decided to pack up and go home other then that the service is always great
