What a fun evening at a holiday party which took place in a cordoned off section of this large bar/nightclub. Great environment, lots of good food at the buffet, hors d’oeuvres, good service and good lighting. Lots of flat screen TVs face it a sports bar vibe.

Definitely an average bar. I appreciated them hosting this open mic. The service wasn’t memorable or inviting. It was pretty obvious the open mic was just to create traffic for sales. Didn’t feel like there was a deeper appreciation for the attendees. Just the sales. But as an establishment it was adequate service. Nothing stand out. Good drinks, good food, basic bar

Have stopped in a few times now and highly recommend.
It’s a great place to watch the Eagles on a Sunday if you don’t want too much of a crowd but still want to have fun. Joey and Nicole were bartending and fantastic! Food was great as well. Highly recommend the sampler if you want to try the food.
Stopped in again on a Thursday for a Phillies game and again was impressed. Nicole was back along with Joe and Matt who were also amazing. Again was busy but not packed which made watching the game enjoyable. Had the Lemon Pepper wings this time and they were perfect.
Service was great and food was above average for a bar!

Ladder 15 is an institution in philadelphia when you think of nightlife and the place to be on the weekend. Great bartenders and great rotating DJs lead to great times. Another thing that should be mentioned is how great the bouncers do, after talking to them a few times, they arent contracted so it adds a bit more customer service and friendliness which really shows and goes a long way.
Ladder 15 is also a great place to hold an event, holiday party, business gathering, or small gathering to celebrate life milestones, as I have done in the past. They are very accommodating regarding food menu options and drink options.

I’ve been going to board game night every Tuesday night for the last couple years here and always have a great time. There’s a consistent crowd of 30+ gamers and our bartender Andy is phenomenal. The food is mid, standard bar food, and only basic options for drinks (but there is one with pop rocks!) – we come for the games

Food and service was standard. Me and a friend went out for a short smoke break. While our friends were in there they tried charging us a cover because the security guard and host didn’t recognize us. Keep track of your customers because we won’t be coming back.

Horrible service from the bartender. The girl who kinda looks like Tate McRae is more interested in flirting with large groups of old men. Other bartender looks at you like a criminal for asking her for a drink.

Stopped in with a friend for a couple beers to kill some time. Ordered two beers and closed my tab with generous tip. Realized we had some time and ordered two more beers and added same tip. (30%) When I got my credit card statement I noticed the bartender added an additional $40 tip to my second transaction. I called 2x and emailed and still have never received a return call. I did get an email response from an event manager (S.D.) who said he would look into it. This was in July!
It’s not about the $40 it’s about what’s right and wrong.
Check your bill and keep your receipts!!!!

Bouncers are egotistical. Lot of muscle, not a lot of brain. I was kicked out of this bar for reasons that were never explained to me. It was clear that they made a mistake kicking me out and yet no one would apologize. I highly discourage large groups from booking this as a venue. There is no respect for compliance and reason at this bar. Any conversation you have with a bouncer is grounds to get you the boot. Ladder 15 is a 0/10.

The bartender was so rude to us. We ordered drinks and i asked to close the tab. She looked at me like I was crazy said “WHAT” and so I repeated myself and she just said the name of the drink. I was so confused because she didn’t give me a check to pay or say how much it was. After standing there for a second she yelled the price of the drinks, I handed her the money and she THREW the change on the bar and walked away. I didn’t catch her name but she was blonde and on the first floor. It was one of the weirdest experiences ever and definitely unacceptable when you have to pay a cover to get in. I’ve never been treated like that by a service worker in my life.
