Imperial Chinese Buffet is a very nice and spacious place. The service is great, and the staff is friendly. There is a wide variety of food to choose from, and the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant also has plenty of parking, which makes it very convenient to visit.

If someone in your party uses a wheelchair, the place is fully accessible, with a ramp and everything needed for easy and comfortable access. The hours are Sunday through Thursday from 11:15 AM to 9:30 PM, and Friday to Saturday from 11:15 AM to 10:30 PM. Overall, it’s a great place to enjoy a good meal with family or friends.

I really enjoyed my meal at Imperial Buffet! All the food was fresh and delicious, and everything tasted just right — not too salty or greasy. The hot sour soup was especially amazing — perfectly balanced, rich in flavor, and full of fresh ingredients. You can tell they really care about quality.By the way, there are the best chicken wing that I have ever tasted.

Fantastic food, great selection! I read that staff aren’t great but I thought otherwise. They were friendly and kept up with our plates and drinks just fine. Atmosphere is great other than the walk ways are to thin. But other than that great all around. Definitely my favorite place so far! P.s the fried oysters are potent lol.

very cute buffet! stopped in on the way home from a road trip and was met with an adorable koi fish pond. decent food selection with a sushi bar (my personal favorite was the sushi). was not too impressed with the dessert bar. staff was decent, overall a nice family atmosphere.

I had a great experience at Imperial Buffet in Shrewsbury. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well stocked throughout our visit. The crab Rangoon bites were especially good — crispy on the outside with a creamy, well-seasoned filling that didn’t taste overly greasy. The salmon really stood out too; it was cooked perfectly, flaky, and full of flavor, which isn’t always easy to find at a buffet.
The spare ribs were tender and well glazed, and the lo mein was excellent — not dry, nicely seasoned, and full of noodles rather than filler. Both the chicken and broccoli and beef and broccoli were very good, with tender meat and fresh-tasting vegetables. The spring rolls and egg rolls were hot, crispy, and clearly freshly made.
On top of the food, the waitstaff was very polite and inviting. They were attentive without being overbearing, quick to clear plates, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Imperial Buffet offers a solid variety of well-prepared dishes and great service, and it’s definitely a place I’d come back to when I’m craving a good Chinese buffet.

Nothing, NOT A THING we had here was fresh or worth putting in our mouth. We were greeted with a very unwelcoming look and the staff was not very friendly except for one male staff. My girlfriend had the same experience and complained about a strong odor wafting everywhere. I was skeptical to try this place given the low rating but sometimes rating does not tell everything. But I was proven wrong. And all this for $21 before tax and tip was insane. I spent the rest of the night listening to my girlfriend lamenting to me for taking her to this place because the food was that unpleasant.

Food was decent and it’s not bad to dine here. The male staff are friendly. However, one server, I assume is Lucy, she’s rude. Gives an attitude when you say “thank you”. Doesn’t allow you to enjoy your second or third plate and she immediately gives you your check, as if already to kick you out. That is absolutely ridiculous!

The service here was polite and friendly. The food was decent/good with a large variety of both food and dessert options. The indoor Koi pond/ fountain/ waterfall was nice to look at and tranquil. The only negative comment I could make is the bathrooms could be maintained better.
Looks like there is a few minor repairs that need to be made in the men’s bathroom around and under the sink area. Other than that I really enjoyed dining in here. For two adult buffet meals and two diet drinks the total without tip was $36.17. Not bad in my opinion considering it’s all you can eat. If you and the family are near or just looking for a solo place to eat try Imperial.

I genuinely want to like this place because the food is actually pretty good and my friend and I go often. Unfortunately, the staff make the experience uncomfortable almost every single time.

You’re rushed through your meals, watched while you eat, and treated like you’re doing something wrong just by being there. The worst part is when it comes time to pay. On my last visit, we were instantly given dirty looks the moment we stepped in the door, before we had even said anything. After, my friend and I were splitting the check in cash. We were calmly and quietly counting what we had (knowing we had enough) and splitting up our money. It hadn’t even been 2 minutes since the bill was handed to us, and the server came back over, hovered directly above us, and stared for a few seconds until asking if we needed help. I kindly told her we were okay, just splitting the money up, and that we had enough to cover everything. She stood there for another 2 minutes until we ended up just handing the cash straight to her and she walked right away. It felt so accusatory and invasive.

There’s a big difference between being attentive to your tables and making customers feel constantly monitored. No one wants to feel like they’re under surveillance while trying to eat or pay, especially loyal customers who have payed and tipped well every single time.

Overall, great food, but the rude, hovering service completely ruins the experience. If you don’t trust your customers and treat them with respect, don’t be surprised when they stop coming. After my last experience, I will not be back and spend my money there. And you shouldn’t either.
