Great little place for beer, but probably not the best location for getting groceries. Beer selection is very good. Never did find the groceries, although someone did have a dozen eggs when we were there. Super friendly staff that actually took the time to read to us about the historic pictures that were on the wall. Very friendly place and a great atmosphere despite the historical aspect of the building.

Earl’s Grocery & Saloon is a true gem, a delightful blend of old-world charm and genuine hospitality. Stepping inside feels like entering a warm embrace, where the aroma of hearty food and friendly chatter instantly puts you at ease. The grocery section is a treasure trove of local produce and unique finds, perfect for crafting a memorable meal.
The saloon, with its cozy ambiance, offers a comforting refuge. The bartenders are masters of their craft, whipping up classic cocktails with a smile, while the kitchen delivers satisfying, home-style dishes that nourish the soul. The atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxed, fostering easy conversation and shared laughter.
What truly sets Earl’s apart is its unwavering commitment to community. It’s a place where regulars are treated like family, and newcomers are welcomed with open arms. First time visiting for the 80s party, as a short statured female I found it quite refreshing to be visiting a bar where I wasn’t completely ignored or somebody didn’t act like they didn’t see me.
I enjoyed my time and my first visit here and I will definitely be coming back.

Home away from home away from home. Where everybody knows your name. Say hi to Floppy. He’s behind the bar.

Cool atmosphere but the drink options seemed kind of basic. I asked for about 4 different things that they didn’t have (hard ciders, hard sodas) and eventually landed on something that was fine. I only had one drink. If I had been in the mood for a plain beer… It would have been great!

Earl’s has its regulars, and that is the best part about this place. A clean but otherwise sterile atmosphere allows for a free-from-distraction environment to have a conversation and enjoy a drink. The bar stools are really well done, custom metal to Earl’s, and there is a large room in the back for larger groups. Off the beaten trail from the main downtown bars so it isn’t very often over run with obnoxiousness.

A wonderful place to have a drink, meet people, and have fun. Great staff, good pizza, and free peanuts. Some nights quiet and some quite noisy. Kudos to the guy who insisted on singing The Banana Boat last night!
