We had a great breakfast, Karli was on the spot and took great care of us. Our was just as we ordered it and arrived quickly. The restaurant is huge inside and menu is equally huge! Everything was clean and neat. We would definitely eat here again.

The dining room entrance is on the south side, the 1st entrance we came to is for a banquet room.
We were greeted and served by Riley, who was very friendly and attentive and has the prettiest smile.
I was really amazed to find eggs Benedict in Nebraska. The eggs were perfect, the ham was about 1/4″ thick and the hollandaise was slightly tangy…..Absolutely fantastic. I requested my hash browns to look like the ones on the menu, but they were barely golden. Sausage gravy is creamy with quality sausage that seemed to not have grisel.
George’s Denver omelet had nice sized pieces of ham, green pepper and onion both inside and on top. Again his hash browns didn’t look like the menu, as requested.
Our water glasses never ran empty, milk was served cold, when the food came out, as requested.
Restrooms are clean and well maintained.

As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted by a very happy and friendly hostess (young lady with braided black hair). She told us we looked good today and cheerfully took us to our seats as she recommended the creme puffs. This young lady’s friendly greeting was the highlight of our whole dining experience. We wish there were more people like her around. Thank you! The food was good as well and we enjoyed all the positive plaques and decor around the restaurant.

Pam was fabulous! We had the farm skillet and bacon avocado ranch omelette. Both were delicious and the side of pancakes were perfectly cooked. The coffee was good too.

Second time stopping here on our way through Chadron. First time had very good service and the food was decent. Yesterday was not good. Shown to a booth and was told someone would be with us soon. Spent over 15 minutes sitting there with no service, not even a glass of water while other customers who entered after us were waited on. We ended up leaving (no one noticed) and going somewhere else to eat. Will not stop here again.

I was appalled and speechless. I lost my appetite immediately. It came with a side salad which was fine but the portion of pot roast was meager and sloppily dished onto the plate.
I have noticed the gradual decrease in portions of food as the prices have increased. Today was my last meal at Country Kitchen in Chadron, NE. SAD BECAUSE IT USED TO BE OUR FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT.

The waitress was so bad. We come in a about once a week and each of the last 3 times it gets worst and worst. It started with the Buffett being cold/barley warm. Then this last visit was the last straw for us. The waitress dropped/tipped my butter and it landed upside down on the table. She had The audacity and say “The table is clean I promise” I’m not gonna use a butter that flipped upside down and that touched the table. I was hoping she was just joking about the table being clean and using it but she was being 100% serious and wanted me to use it. I will be not going back after this time
