We had an incredible experience with the catering from Rizzo’s Italian Restaurant! From the moment we placed our order, their customer service was absolutely outstanding—friendly, responsive, and genuinely focused on making sure everything was perfect for our event. It’s rare to find a team that is this easy and enjoyable to work with. The food was fantastic and a huge hit with everyone.

It was one of the best Italian restaurant experiences we have had, and we have been to many in the St. Louis area. My Baked Tortellini was fabulous, and my wife really enjoyed her Cajun Chicken Pasta. The appetizer sampler was delicious as was the Italian Wedding Soup.

Underwhelmed with our experience.
Came here for a weekday lunch. We were seated promptly and our waitress got drink orders in quickly. We ordered the chicken bites, bruschetta flatbread, and a chicken pomodoro lunch special with the gnocchi in white sauce that comes with a salad. You also get fresh bread with the meal.
We received our drinks and the salad promptly. Unfortunately the salad was drenched in dressing and seemed as if it was premade so the lettuce was soggy with no crunch. I made this complaint to our waitress and she just took the salad and left. No apology, no offer to remake just took it and left. Considering the salad is a part of the meal which is why I chose the lunch meal this was disappointing both quality and service wise.
The fresh bread tasted great with their balsamic and olive oil! We received our meals a little while later. The chicken bites and chicken pomodoro were good! Unfortunately the bruschetta was a bit burnt.
Towards the end of our meal it seemed our waitress disappeared. No offered refills on drink, no boxes offered, no check. We waited for over 15 minutes until we finally got hold of another staff member to help us.
Overall with the disappointing quality and service I don’t think I’d return.

Went in on 1/2026 order lasagna it was hot around the sides but cold in the middle. I told the waiter she took it back with a attitude saying this time we will take it back.. WAIT WHAT!!! She told me next time they will just re warm it won’t refund my money. I am sorry if I send something back to the kitchen because of a problem with the food. There is no way am I going to eat it if they try to bring it back..I cant believe we were treated this way. I will never return nor would I ever recommend this place after that.. oh and by the way. I felt I needed to go ahead and pay for it because of the way we were being treated. They wouldn’t take our money but couldn’t understand why I didn’t want it back.. unfortunate but wont be returning there anytime soon.

We recently used Rizzo’s for a catered event and couldn’t be happier. The food was ready on time, hot and absolutely delicious. A special shoutout to Kelly, who was amazing and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process. She didn’t hesitate to take on our small event for 20 people when she already had a 100 person event booked on the same day. Highly recommend! We were immediately greeted and the friendly hostess commented on the book I was carrying. We had baked mostaccioli and chicken Alfredo. The food was delicious and the lunch portions were great. All of the staff were super friendly and accommodating. We are excited to return again soon!

Had a large party we were celebrating a birthday. We brought our own cake and we were told there was a $10 charge for bringing in an outside dessert.
Ok but you don’t offer birthday cake, so why penalize someone who is bringing new customers to your place to enjoy a meal.
Food is delicious. The staff is very attentive. The dining area is weird and spaced awkward. With all the other in choices to celebrate someone, I’ll be passing this place up next time.

RIZZO’s went out of their way ( last minute) to accommodate a party of 12 after a family wake. They seated us all together and did not make us feel rushed. The services was excellent and done with a smile.
