My wife and I went to Laura’s BBQ for dinner. Our waitress Court was full of positive energy and very knowledgeable about the food selection. The BBQ ribs with dry rub were delicious and cooked to perfection. I’m looking forward to going back again.

A pretty good spot for BBQ!
We started off with the wings (lemon pepper). I really liked how crispy they were and the meat wasn’t too dry. My only minor complaint is that the lemon pepper sauce didn’t have much lemon flavor – mainly butter and pepper.
The half rack and brisket combo was great. The brisket had a nice dry rub, but I think the meat could have been juicier. The ribs were pretty excellent – juicy and flavorful. The fries were crispy and tasty. The cornbread was warm, soft, and delightful.
The service was great.

Very great place to go to even if you’re only in town for a day, get yourself a nice rack of Ribs at Laura’s BBQ. It’s a beautiful and simple place to go to see the water, boats and get yourself some good food. The Ribs were delicious, normally I have indigestion issues but with their menu it’s cooked the right way and I was able to eat everything. Thanks again for the great service Derick! Will be back again to visit with the yacht for work. Highly recommend. The owners Lloyd and Laura are very friendly and make sure everyone gets their great service!

The food was good. All of these photos were take after we sampled. We couldn’t wait! Portions were large especially the ribs. We had enough left over for another meal or two. Really enjoyed the pulled pork because it comes without the sauce so you can control how much you want to put on.

My first time here. Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, great food. Met Laura and her husband, supernice people, and he’s a real Texan. Will be back for the football game wing special. Also, there’s a bar and pool table if you want. Overall a great place.

We had dinner inside, it was a “busy night” for them. However the food came out lightly warm to almost cold. We had the beef brisket and pulled pork, the owner brought out the food a second time and it was slightly warmer than the first time but never hot. The food visibly looked great but after tasting it, it was flavorless. We added salt to it to compensate but the fact that it wasn’t hot made it difficult to eat. We ended up not eating our plates. The owner didn’t charge us for one plate (beef brisket), the waitress wasn’t attentive and we had to wait longer than expected just to have the food heated. The waitress said that it was under the “red lamp” – that was disappointing to hear and the fact that they were very busy was the excuse. A disappointing evening for us. We ended up having to have dinner elsewhere.

We hired Laura’s BBQ for our wedding and we could not be happier. Lloyd was very easy to work with, the package was very affordable, and everyone was blown away by the food. Not to mention the log cabin trailer was such a cute addition. Highly recommend working with Laura’s BBQ for any event! You will not be disappointed.
