Finally was able to try out the cafe after hearing such good thing about it from friends. The workers are very sweet and have amazing customer service. The food was so good. Very fast too. The chocolate covered strawberry blended frappe drink was very tasty and looked so good. It was kinda toasty in the cafe but It beats being outside in the cold.

The service was very tasty. I loved every bit of it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the omelette was a tad watery underneath. Otherwise, great service and very nice atmosphere.
I ordered the 2 egg omelette with a hashbrown patty and avocado, then mixed it all together.

We made a pit stop here for brunch and this place did not disappoint. While the food did take a while to come, the restaurant owner was extremely welcoming. We ordered a lot of food and they were short staffed but totally worth the wait.

My favorite dish was the tomato soup and girl cheese while my wife really enjoyed her waffle. My in laws loved their bacon, omelette, burrito, and turkey sandwich.

Overall, this is a great brunch spot and deserves praise!

Went to this little cafe for the first time and they definitely exceeded our expectations. I ordered there pancakes and my boyfriend ordered the early riser burrito with no pico. He ordered there Tropicana and it was really good. I had there Arnold Palmer, it was okay, it could have been sweeter in my opinion. We also ordered drinks to go and we tried the Liz and the mermaid man, both were delicious. Definitely worth going here. It was only about $40 for both of us even after ordering the to go drinks. Very cheap compared to the places are them. Staff were very nice and attentive. You can even make your own diy drink. If you’re looking for a cute, cheap, delicious, little cafe-come here no questions asked.

First time checking this place out it was great. I don’t remember exactly what I ordered. I do remember that I loved it. But there are definitely some drinks that are better than others. My partner’s drink was not the best in my opinion. I think it was too sweet and tasted a little artificial. But the coffee was not that bad, not too acidic in my opinion.

Love this place, come once or twice a week and get the Early Riser Burrito with my wife. We also love the drinks, we get the rustic orange with sugar free red bull. Definitely one of the best food places in town.

Cafe Main Street 254 has become a new favorite! We stopped by for breakfast and were blown away by both the food and the atmosphere.

We started with the breakfast croissant, which was perfectly flaky, with just the right balance of fillings that made every bite delicious. Paired with the nutter butter coffee blend, which was rich and creamy, it was a unique and indulgent way to kick off the morning.

Next, we tried the stuffed biscuits and gravy, which did not disappoint! The biscuits were tender and packed with flavor, and the gravy was savory with a perfect, hearty texture. It was comfort food at its finest! This was complemented nicely by a breakfast tea, which was fresh and soothing.

The ambiance is cozy, and the staff was warm and welcoming, making the experience all the more enjoyable. If you’re in Porterville, Cafe Main Street 254 is a must-visit for breakfast. We’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu!

Paint a picture. It was a Sunday morning. Day after valentines. You go to try a new place. You go to the counter they ask if you are eating to go or in. You say in they tell you to take a seat look at the same menu thats at the counter at the table then come back up to the counter to order. Then when you pick the items you want more then half cant be made.. your coffee is reheated in a microwave.. they can make a sandwich with egg on it but not the omelet.. then you hear a microwave in the back for the sandwich.. the bagel is hard and stale and they just give you a container of cream cheese… the coffee is horrible and the coffee you had at your motel this morning was better. The young girl is too busy talking to the other worker thats sitting on his phone.. horrible experience. Rather pay more to go some where else will not be back
