Thank you Yelp, for inviting me to the Elite Experience & Bowl Bonanza at Ricemill! This cute little downtown eatery is serving delicious hand crafted and build-your-own Asian bowls. They use fresh ingredients and homemade sauces offering shrimp, chicken and pork for proteins. You can have it over rice , noodles, or fresh greens and they have plenty of gluten-free and vegan options as well. The staff was friendly and welcoming offering to assist if needed I chose to build my own bowl with steak and shrimp over noodles in the caramelized scallion sauce topped with sweet and sour eggplant, zucchini, anoki mushrooms, edamame, purple cabbage and sesame seeds. It was delicious and good for me too! You have to try their different flavors of rice pudding and homemade strawberry and watermelon lemonade. The grand opening was an amazing experience. Located in at the heart of Phoenix, Texas, Ricemill has decided to bring an unique Asian fusion to the fast casual dining scene. The style of service is efficient and especially for those who wanted to grab a quick bite. I especially enjoyed the Szechuan Mala Steak bowl, taking that all too-well-familiar aromatic Szechuan heat and incorporating it into a variety of fresh greens.
The service is great and the staff members are respectful. The store embroidered an aesthetic palette of orange and beige, adding onto the great food with a warm and inviting environment. The portion is especially fitting with the price, you can be guaranteed that you are getting more than what you are paying for. I very much enjoyed my experience here and would come again! We got build-your-own rice bowls which chicken. Both were excellent and offered samples of different sauces. Do it! I liked the second sauce much more, despite enjoying the first.
I recommend the scallion sauce.
Also, the serving sizes for the bowls are large. If you aren’t a male expect some leftovers if you get a pudding.
The Milk Tea had subtle authentic flavor that wasn’t too sweet, and the rice pudding was a delight.

The food is tasty, nutritional, and delivered with good service. Overall, the concept is well thought out and executed- it’s the “Chipotle” of Asian food.
However the price for a bowl is undeniably expensive. $15 + a tip (about $17) for one bowl is a hard sell, especially for Phoenix AZ.

Ricemill is my new obsession It’s like an Asian Chipotle but 10x better! Everything is super clean, fresh, and packed with flavor. The steak and shrimp combo? Absolute perfection! You can tell the chef really puts love into every bowl ❤️
Service is crazy fast, portions are huge, and the vibe is just awesome. I literally drive all the way here every week — that’s how good it is! Please open one closer to my area I need my Ricemill fix more often! Keep growing and spreading the goodness ✨

The famous fruit sandwiches are premade fresh every day. They were only an hour open when we arrived and only had 5 left, strawberry and green grape. So they indeed sell out fast. And was heavenly ti eat. It was gone too fast. Google maps was crazy getting us here. It took us to Washing street, we wandered to elevators. Found a lobby, got directions to go back down the stairs. Google should have taken us right there but actually you should walk to 2nd street side of the block and, halfway between Washington&Jefferson you’ll find Rice Mill. We found metered parking the next street south of Jeffersin for $1.50 an hour with a 4 hr time limit.
