Wife and I, as well the kiddos love this place, definitely our goto always.
Very delicious hot served food, I usually get the Sichuan beef no celery, wife gets Szechuan chicken no celery they’re always so nice and accommodating and order comes out perfect every time, always good fresh yummy vegetables, good tender proteins always juicy.

Each time we order from here, we are impressed with the food. Tasty and there’s never an after taste from the oil. We’ve had the chicken, the beef, the soups-it’s all wonderful. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. We won’t go anywhere else for our Asian food.

We decided to get Chinese last weekend and thought we would try this place. My fiance got the Broccoli Beef with Steamed rice. He said the sauce was really thin and should have been thicker. Broccoli was tender and steamed well. As well as the rice.
We got an order of Spring Rolls and Crab Ragoons. Nothing special there. Just like every other place we have been to.
I ordered the combo plate of Sweet and Sour Chicken with BBQ Pork, Fried Shrimp and BBQ Pork fried rice. Everything came out hot and was good. I only ended up eating half of my combo plate and took the rest home.
Its not that great the next day. I wosh I had gotten some of thr sweet and sour sauce to go with my leftovers.
Service was okay. She was semi attentive.
The interior was well dated but clean.
Would eat there again if we were invited, but otherwise we would find and alternate place.

My mom and I just ate here for the first time a few days ago. The food was good but the service was bizarre. We usually go to a Chinese food restaurant in Dallas and that food is good as well but we also get wonderful normal service . She was very bossy potentially that’s just who she is. When my mom got a can of Pepsi instead of a glass with ice she went to request it lost with ice and the woman waved her off like she was the hired help. My mom and I would laugh together as that’s what we do a lot and she kept looking back and flashing a glare at us as if she thought we were laughing at her. When I went to the register and asked where the restrooms were her and her husband barked at me in Chinese and waved me off as if I was standing in a forbidden area lol. The atmosphere was weird as they had a lot of pink just didn’t care for it. Extremely dated. She told me to leave my total because my tip was zero and when I told her it is totaled she walked away tearing up my receipt aggressively. My mom and I just looked at each other like what the hell’s going on. We usually go to milgadesh the river. We will continue their and never go back to Lucky Dragon again. Great that so many other people had wonderful experiences but I don’t understand how with the very strange experience we had

Good quality large portions,I’m a hefty eater(fat) and I couldn’t finish about 1/2 my dinner.they do serve Pepsi I’m strictly a Coke addict! . Price was very reasonable $25 $10 tip. Ya I would come back you should too.

I just tried this place for the first time and it was hands down, Super good !! I definitely will be ordering from them again. Can’t wait to try new things on the menu. I ordered the beef szechuan and white rice.

Clean and open floor plan. Friendly staff , though slow service. There is only two people working when we were there at dinner time (5:19pm). Food was hot and average. Very typical of the Asian food you would normally get anyplace.
Super cold inside so, uncomfortable.
The green bean chicken was very good if you want something not deep fried or covered in goo. Bbq pork was tender and very good also.
Fair prices.
We mite try again and see how it goes. For now…I’m on the fence.

It was our first time trying this place. We got takeout for Christmas and it was delicious! We will be ordering food from here again. We tried the Egg flower soup, crab rangoon, Chef’s special and sweet & sour chicken.

My boyfriend and I stopped for dinner on a Wednesday night about 530. We were the only ones there. I asked for tea. They didn’t have any tea. Unfortunately, their water was awful. The meal was your average sweet and sour chicken. No complaints there. The server seemed like she was having a bad day, so we tipped her extra. Hopefully next time we go… they’ll have tea.

Change of hands to new owners but not a change in decor or updating was done. The food was alright my chow mein had a lot of onions and the staff was 1 guy, no one busing tables and it was a little bit of an uncomfortable atmosphere. Will give it another try soon but mostly because it is very slim choices for food in Independence.
