Food was amazing! We were in Indy for the PRI show and I wanted to find a good sushi restaurant to have a light bite. And I wish I could say I tried more rolls than the two I got…. They were absolutely delicious!! If you’re in the area, it is worth the trip. Best sushi I’ve had was in Seattle and this came up right alongside it. Worth the trip and the service was phenomenal. Will definitely be back next year! I wish this business lots of success in the years to come! Also, restaurant was clean and tidy!

Let’s keep this place a well kept secret… Possibly the most shocking find from Indianapolis, a peaceful unsuspecting sushi place with sashimi that might have you thinking you’re at the fish market in Tokyo! I know, Indianapolis sushi- not the best image, but I promise you, this is a slept on spot that is sure to pleasantly surprise you with each visit.
I find that the sashimi is extremely fresh and of high quality. At my most recent visit, I ordered the yellowtail scallion hand roll and saw insane marbling of fat in the fish. The subtlety of the scallion and the mild, buttery yellowtail is a steady favorite of mine. I also tried their veggie tempura, something that not every place can nail. Unsurprisingly the dish was crunchy, fresh and sent me back to memories of Osaka tempura I did find that the tempura tends to become soggy only after I took my time with the rolls. I don’t want to deduct them points for this, because I think all tempura should be eaten asap! I waited to finish my meal with two veggie pieces willingly, but found them still delicious.
You’ll find me there soon again!

Well, Holy crap! I used to think the best sushi was in Carmel. No longer the case. The sushi is the best I’ve had in Indiana, the facility is clean and very modern. The service is awesome, and the Sushi?….holy crap! Love it. If you like salmon, get the rainbow roll! Waaaaaaa! Very Happy sushi experience.

We traveled from Florida to Indianapolis to visit my son and his fiancé and decided to give E Sushi a try and I have to say, it was the best sushi I have tried, well, the closest to Japan. We ordered the appetizers and a boat and we were very impressed. The only thing I can say is that they have very little vegetarian options, but other than that, the sushi was fresh, made with dedication and passion because each piece was perfectly made. The salmon on fire appetizer was very, very good, the sauce was phenomenal, pricing was a little too high in my opinion. The fried tofu appetizer was very impressive and all sushi rolls including the very few vegetarian rolls we ordered were amazing. I recommend this restaurant to any sushi lover. We are sushi lovers and we have sushi in every city that we visit in the USA and other countries, including the country of Japan and I can say it is the closest in quality and freshness to Japan. The atmosphere is amazing, nice, relaxing and open and bright enough to have a nice dinner and conversation, and the restaurant server was very nice, professional and accommodating. We will come back again and again. Oh, the drinks? Awesome. The best Lemon Drop I have had, and I always ask for Lemon Drop Martinis every restaurant/bar I visit 🙂

I have been here several times and the experience is always very pleasant! They have some of the best friend rice in the area and a very large selection of sushi and specialty rolls. They also have a good amount of drink options.

Quaint sushi spot to get your fill. Good variety of sushi, sashimi, and hibachi. We had just the sushi – tasted fresh, offered a variety of rolls to choose from. Green tea was smooth and service was quick.

If you are downtown Indianapolis looking for some authentic, fresh, made to order Japanese Cuisine and sushi then this is a must stop! They are located in the heart of the city, the ambiance is very warm and welcoming, plenty of seating and have a sushi bar. City parking. There is something here for everyone from the die hard raw sushi lovers to the ramen bowls. Had some fresh sushi and have to say it melts in your mouth. Great place will be back!

Casual, friendly, fairly basic sushi restaurant. Dishes were good, but nothing exceptional. Will definitely go back for a low key lunch or dinner. Would not consider this an upscale date spot. Service was 10/10 and very accommodating.
