Food was good. Service fair. Thai sweet tea was $5.50 and served in a to go cup with lid. I ordered the Pho Tom Kha Shrimp but was served the Pho Tom Yum Shrimp. I alerted the waitress of the error. She argued with me a bit, but agreed to bring me the correct dish. It looked and tasted like they dumped out the hot and sour soup and ladled on the coconut soup. My husband got the Crab Meat Fried Rice. Both were served in generous portions. We will try again and hope for a better experience.

Sweet Basil Thai Cuisine is a hidden gem in Carrollton. This is a very authentic Thai restaurant. There are many negative reviews about portion size and price. The portions are huge. The food is completely cooked to order. The flavor is on point and not bland in the least. The cleanliness of the restaurant is very well maintained. The tables show some wear, but the food and staff speak volumes for this establishment. The staff is very attentive and you always have a full glass of drink or any need met. This is a restaurant that is worth stopping by to eat in or take out. We will definitely be back!

First time here was a successful trip! Me and my husband loved everything. We got the appetizer sampler and it was exquisite. My husband got the combination protein red curry and I got the red chili fried rice. So good! Service was amazing and the atmosphere is so cozy. Will be back again soon!

We love this little hidden gem in Carrollton.
The staff is always kind and responsive.
They have lots of great veggie and vegan options.
We enjoyed the Tom kha soup with tofu and the hot and sour with tofu!
They have a great take out business and are rarely busy for sit down.

First time visit! Took my wife to celebrate Mother’s Day. We ordered Shrimp Mango Fried Rice and Shrimp Thai Fried Rice. Both came out piping hot and smelled great. Great dishes and we were well pleased with the choice to visit. This location is highly recommended!

Enjoyed a terrific lunch today, our first visit and we will be back! The dishes we had were authentic, not Americanized Thai food: Satay, Fried Tofu, Larb and Tom Kha soup. Got a Mango Sticky Rice to go, yum!

This place serves, easily, the best curry I have ever had. It’s sweet while still managing to be light. And if you don’t like curry, all their food is consistently delicious. My partner gets something different every time, and he’s always satisfied. The staff is friendly and kind, and they have never gotten a to-go order wrong. The restaurant is very clean. They are also kid-friendly. There are numerous times I’ve brought my baby, and they were kind enough to bring her some plain raw veggies for her to gnaw on while we ate. There is always plenty of parking since it sits at the back of a relatively quiet shopping mall. I cannot say enough nice things about this place. I’m very grateful that Carrollton finally has a Thai place, and a GREAT one at that!
