Great Valentine’s Experience
Fujisan Japanese Grill & Sushi Bar was a fantastic choice for our Valentine’s Day dinner! The atmosphere was cozy and romantic, perfect for a special night out with my girlfriend. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, high-quality sushi and perfectly cooked hibachi that exceeded our expectations.

One thing we noticed was that they seemed a bit understaffed, with only two servers handling all the tables. Despite this, they did an impressive job keeping up with orders and making sure everyone was taken care of. Service was still quick considering the circumstances, and our server was friendly and attentive.

Overall, it was a great experience, and the food alone makes it worth coming back. Highly recommend for a date night or anyone craving amazing Japanese cuisine!

This new open sushi restaurant has become an instant favorite, and I couldn’t wait to share my delightful experience with you.

From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, beautifully decorated with elements that transported me back to the enchanting streets of Japan. The ambiance was the perfect blend of modern elegance and traditional charm, making it an ideal place for a casual outing or a special occasion.

The chefs’ artistry was evident in the delicate presentation, making each dish a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds. The wide variety of food options was impressive, catering to both traditional sushi enthusiasts and adventurous foodies seeking unique and innovative flavors.

However, the star of the show had to be the sukiyaki. This traditional Japanese hot pot dish evoked cherished memories of my travels to Japan. The savory broth, tender slices of beef, and assortment of fresh vegetables and tofu created a symphony of flavors that took me on a nostalgic culinary journey.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend this sushi haven to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. The fresh and delectable food, delightful ambiance, and impeccable service all contribute to a memorable journey into the heart of Japanese cuisine. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, and I’m sure you’ll feel the same once you’ve experienced the magic of this exceptional restaurant!

Amazing atmosphere and ambiance. Heather provided outstanding service, friendly and knowledgeable. Sushi was on point, loved the seared Salmon! Yakitori was good, although the chicken could have been more moist. The beef wrapped scallions were delicious but very chewy. We’ll be back soon!

I had lunch with friends at Fujisan Japanese Grill & Sushi Bar. Their unadon, eel roll, and Lobster Tempura roll were not only delicious but remarkably fresh. Each bite was a journey of rich, authentic flavors that left me yearning for more. To top it off, their tempura ice cream for dessert was an absolute delight – a sweet and crispy finish to a wonderful meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking to satiate their sushi cravings. A must-visit!

Loved the food and service at Fujisan. Everything was beautifully plated and there were definitely creative items on the menu. My favorites were the seared salmon belly, Ishiyaki where they cook the beef on the hot iron stone, wagyu uni (simply gorgeous and delicious), sushi tacos, and salmon volcano rice. Yakitori platter was great because we had a variety of tastings. The mushrooms and pork belly were my fav! My friends ordered the soup dobin mushi which comes in the cutest tea pot. If you want something beautiful get the Fujisan box deluxe. Never seen anything like it, so colorful and lots of fresh raw fish, eel, fish egg, etc. Nice to have something different than your typical sushi boat. The ambiance is really nice too. Very beautifully designed with blues and golds. Very classy. The sushi was very fresh I find that some places don’t have fresh cold fish how it should be so I’m glad this place did not disappoint. As for desserts the green tea mochi, tempura ice cream, and cheesecake were amazing. Personal favorite is cheesecake. Highly recommend!

Yum! Sake salmon and white tuna nigiri were my favorite. Rainbow roll was average. I think the sushi rice could have more rice vinegar flavor and it was also a little dry, but everything was good otherwise. Other dishes looked delicious and I loved their plating and presentation. (Mine was the “least impressive” but I forgot to take pics of the other dishes which had dry ice and/or a little flambe which was really impressive.)

Fantastic interior decor and overall vibes too. Service was friendly, albeit a little on the slow side for now, but I think they’re still adjusting to the demand. Definitely coming back to try more nigiri!

Update: came back & got the All About Salmon platter which was my favorite so far. Exquisite nigiri.

A Hidden Gem: Fujisan Sushi – Fresh, Flavorful, and Full of Surprises

Tucked discreetly in a nondescript strip mall, Fujisan is the kind of place you’d drive past without a second thought—until you step inside and discover a sushi haven that delights in every possible way. My recent lunch visit left me pleasantly surprised and thoroughly satisfied, making this hidden gem a must-visit for sushi lovers.

Let’s start with the ambiance. Fujisan strikes a perfect balance between modern style and cozy comfort. The layout is spacious without being sparse, and the atmosphere during lunch was tranquil—so quiet it felt like my own personal sushi sanctuary. While it may not scream “upscale,” it certainly whispers “welcome home” with its mix of traditional booths and plush velvet chairs.

Now, the food. Oh, the food. I opted for the all-you-can-eat lunch menu (because who doesn’t like the sound of unlimited sushi?), and it was worth every bite. The sushi rolls were fresh and flavorful, served with ample wasabi and ginger to keep your taste buds on their toes. My absolute favorite was the Dragon Roll, which delivered a satisfying blend of spice and texture that had me contemplating a second plate—if only I’d saved room. The miso soup was a warm and comforting starter, and the garden salad was a refreshing crunch of crisp veggies and bright flavors.

While Fujisan doesn’t go for elaborate plating or over-the-top garnishes, the sushi is a feast for the eyes, with vibrant colors that practically begged me to snap a photo before digging in. Sometimes simplicity really is the ultimate sophistication.

Service here is another big win. Our server was a delight—friendly, knowledgeable, and impressively patient as we peppered them with questions about the menu. They even managed to keep our orders rolling out promptly without making us feel rushed despite the 90-minute time limit for the all-you-can-eat lunch.

Cleanliness is key in any restaurant, and Fujisan aced this category. Everything about the place felt fresh and well-cared-for, from the spotless dining area to the bright, well-maintained restrooms. The lighting was just right, too—inviting but not so dim that you feel like you’re in a mysterious sushi speakeasy.

For all of this, the price point is more than fair. Considering the food quality and generous portions, the all-you-can-eat option felt like a bargain. It’s an indulgence that doesn’t break the bank, and the time limit didn’t detract from the experience one bit.

Overall, Fujisan is a joy to discover, and I’m already planning my return—this time for dinner, to see if the evening ambiance matches the lunch charm. If you’re in the area and craving fresh, flavorful sushi served with a side of serenity, make your way to Fujisan. You won’t regret it!

Fujisan is a very good spot. I got the sashimi deluxe and it was good quality fish and the portions were satisfying. The salad that comes with the meal was super tasty, especially the mayo/ginger dressing they put on top. The only complaint I have is about the miso soup. It was very watered down and the flavor was lacking. Otherwise the service was phenomenal and quick. They also give you free edamame which is a nice touch and thoughtful. Will be returning to try more things!
