This place is couldn’t love nearby..The aroma of fresh bread coupled with the visual getting behind the scenes….The bread was falling almost magically on huge drying racks. It was like the willy wonker of bread machines. Looked at multiple lines delivering the goodness. Had some delicious samples at home too….The midnight rider, some sourdough, some bulky sandwich rolls….Fresh and hot and you can buy at the factory awesome…

I will always buy Piantedosi bread and I recommend it to everyone! What started as a complaint turned me into a huge fan of the company.
I’ve been buying Piantedosi bread for years, but the most recent loaf I purchased had a bit of dark dust on the side of the bread that didn’t look right. I sent a message to the company after dinner and had an email in my inbox at 8 AM the following morning apologizing and looking to coordinate the easiest way for them to replace the bread for me. I subsequently received a call from a different employee who asked for some more information and photos so he could investigate. I got a call back from him shortly after sending the photos explaining that the dark dust was from the hearth that they bake the bread in. Although it was harmless, he said he was sorry that the bread didn’t look perfect and for the trouble I had to go through. This is the best customer service I can remember receiving. Thanks to Gail and Joe for being prompt, professional, and kind!

I got a Piantedosi brand French bread roll from Shaw’s and it is absolutely disgusting despite being soft and not stale. Worst French bread I have ever gotten, and overpriced at $5. Would never recommend.

they are now freezing the bread. even if you pick it up in malden …they give you previously frozen bread.This used to be the best sub roll you could get anywhere in Massachusetts.

Best bread ever! I grew up in Medford. Every week my family would buy the Piantedosi rolls in a paper bag. Most went for our lunches and my two next door elderly neighbors. Every time I am near Malden/Medford I stop in and grab a few bags of bread!

Stopped on way to doms sausage around the corner with my grandson who loves bread .inside outlet they gave him a sample roll and he loved it.fun to watch the bread above us on system moving it around above our heads. Smells alone are 500 calories. Absolutely a great stop for breads not sure how many types but it was great. and a fun stop, they also had some of their customers products in refrigerators
