It was really good there, everyone is really nice and friendly. It was the soft opening, so once they open it will be exceptional.
The beer wall is really cool. Its really fun to just grab your own beer and not have to order. You can also buy small amounts and try everything… almost like a self directed beer flight.
They have a great menu an excellent location.
Its nice to have something a little less formal in the area and highly recommend them.

I kept hearing they had the best burgers but I wasnt close to one, once they opened this location I went to try it… they were delicious!!!! The burgers are huge and so flavorful! They gave me a nostalgic feeling by how they tasted. The kids meal was a great price and the portion was awesome! Their lemonade is the best I’ve ever had at any restaurant! This will definitely be our burger spot from now on!

Juicy, well seasoned, and cooked right, with that unmistakable old school Texas burger flavor that’s getting harder to find. Every bite tastes intentional, not mass produced, and the portions are generous without being ridiculous.
The milkshakes deserve their own round of applause. Thick, rich, and clearly made with care, they are exceptional even by classic diner standards. They pair perfectly with the burgers and somehow manage to feel indulgent without being over the top.
The location adds to the experience. Sitting along the Waterway gives the place a relaxed, welcoming energy that makes you want to linger instead of rushing out. Lankford does not chase trends or gimmicks. It focuses on doing the basics extremely well, and it succeeds. This is a must stop if you care about great burgers and truly great milkshakes.

Came here to try the New Location, and it did not disappoint. The burgers are REAL HANDMADE burgers with the freshest buttery bun. The fries and tots are crispy and seasoned perfectly. Our waitress Kailey was, sweet. knowledgeable and so accommodating to our special request. Many of the staff stopped by as well to make sure we had all we needed. Will definitely be a regular customer. Excited to try so many of the other menu items.

i ordered a slider sampler as this is my first time eating at this place. i was very excited that i will get to try 3 burgers in 1 order but I am very disappointed as i got 1 pf the 3 with just a patty and 2 pickled cucumber. left me wondering which one is this since it list that you get, the grim, firehouse and highlander. Safe to say, i may not comeback ar this spot anytime soon. I’ll most likely add a picture if at all possible so customers can see it. im giving them a 3 star since the other 2 burgers were okay and the fries were good.

Came in to get a dog and tots to go….order was placed at 12:01p, received my Togo order at 12:31p Food was ok, hot dog bun was fully split in half like eating a sandwich….Tots were really good.
I know they just opened up, so not giving them a true rating, which sould be much lower. Definitely needs some kitchen management to step in.

The new Lankford’s Grocery in The Woodlands is an instant classic. The bacon cheeseburger is the must‑order item — juicy, flavorful meat with perfectly melted cheese and crispy bacon.
