We started off a little rough as our Spanish is rusty. The folks here are nice though. We weren’t sure what to order, so we were given a sample of the pork, rice, and potato salad.
The price was roughly $15 for our lunch (we ordered these three things) . An empanada was $2 and a soda was a few bucks.
Overall, every thing here was fantastic. The meal was so good and had enough food that we only needed to split one entree.
We only wish that we had a little more time to talk about the food for next time. We tried a little soup and talked a bit with the people.

I like trying new foods! With that being said: I just point to what I want, they load up my takeout box. I am an older man with hearing aids trying to communicate with a person who is speaking English as her second language. That didn’t make my experience “A” quality. However, I was in a DR restaurant owned and operated by nationals. It is the experience that i was hoping for. I had the rice and beans and probably some tail meat of some sort. I couldn’t understand what the counter person was saying, so I said ” just put it on and I’ll try it.” Whatever it was, it was very good!
Thank you for a good experience.

I stopped in to grab a DoorDash order and was greeted by some pretty amazing smells. The lovely lady behind the counter gave me a sample bowl of beef stew over rice and beans. OMG! It was soooooo delicious and hit the spot. I’ll definitely be back with my boyfriend. He’s going to love this place! Highly recommend!

I called ahead to order this platter for my wife because she LOVES mofongo! It was ready on time for pick up, smelt delicious and looked like this! The platter is mofongo con carne frita y ensalada with two pastelillo de carne y queso and a beef patty. Defreakinliocious! Not many authentic restaurants in the area Hispanic especially, but this place checks off a lot of boxes!

The food was very good. It was a little on the pricey side for what I got. Empanada was okay but a little on the too much dough to meat ratio. Bistec rice and beans was very good.

Great food and large portions for a good price. Walked in and greeted like family. First time and will for sure be back.

Tiny place, easy to miss from the road unless you are actively looking for it.
We were visiting friends in Lancaster who told us about this place.
I didn’t take a picture but friends bought stewed goat the day before and it was delicious, it was tender and we’ll seasoned.
We decided to go back for lunch. They had stewed pork chops on the menu but I’m not a fan of that style. We asked is they could make Fried Pork Chops instead and they were able to accommodate. Perfectly done pork chop and not greasy at all!
I normally don’t eat beans but these were cooked so soft I didn’t mind them at all.
Fried chicken was good and our neighboring table had fried fish that looked amazing! Next time we visit we will have to try the fish!

If you want moist food as far as your pork and fresh rice, you might want to stop in early. I went at the end of the day. Around four thirty p m and the pork was completely dried out.

So I’ll start off by saying that customer service could’ve been a lot better they were rude. I ordered chicken with rice and I said it in Spanish and English and they gave me pork which was a huge downside because it was dry. They also forgot my beans. It was just disappointed with my entire experience never going back.
