Very nice rustic old world style, it’s small classy kind of a Tuscan feel. In Rancho Santa Fe Fairbanks area. Had the Wagyu Burger and Lasagna

Pros:
Location – If you live/work in the area, then you know how easy it is to get to.
Wine – If you like wine, then this is a spot for you. Lots of choices at all price ranges.
Food tastes freshly made but need a little more seasoning

Cons:
Price/Portions – The food is expensive considering portion size but what isn’t expensive these days.

I’ve been here twice, once for a family dinner and another time for a work lunch. Both times the service and food have been great. I loved the pizzas we had for dinner. My son had the lasagna and it was yummy! E got a chance to speak with the sous chef and complimented him on the dishes we had tried. For the work lunch we ordered the Caesar salad. I had it with salmon and the other person with chicken. Both were great. Looking forward to future events there.

Wonderful staff and their service! Tender, delicious, well cooked lamb!! Great spot on the front porch to watch the hot air balloons go by in the early evening!

This place has REALLY gone downhill with regard to portion sizes, food quality and atmosphere. Don’t get me started on how EVERY SINGLE TAKE OUT ORDER is messed up in some way! Before the pandemic, this was a favorite – however – since early 2023 they have NOT been the same. Menu items that were favorites disappeared, portion sizes got so small and it just is nowhere near what it used to be. Too bad. I do not recommend at all. The prices are way too high for what you get.

Great place nestled in a very affluent part of town. The staff were quick and attentive, and the food was well above par. Don’t pass up on Dolce, as it is hidden, but well worth the stop.

Really enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. The wait times were reasonable and the service was great. It is expensive, which I don’t mind if the overall experience is good. Some on the standout dishes were the wagyu beef sliders, the beet salad and the angry chicken served with a sunny side up egg. I judge restaurants by the quality of their lasagna and it did not disappoint. Cheesy and full of meat, with a wonderful sauce with a slight kick to it. I tool off one star for the noise. The music was way too loud and didn’t fit the vibe. It was difficult to hear the server or one another. Also the cocktails sounded better than they tasted. We will definitely go back, because of the food and service.

Been coming here for years. Pricey but same price as Mexican restaurant around the corner with a better ambiance.

Sat at the bar with my friend and waited 5-10 minutes for a bartender to help my friend and I. The bartender came over after the two very friendly over server contractors yelled the bartenders name. How do I know they were contractors because they told me a few times.

We both ordered a nice glasses of wine but mine smelled and tasted like is was “ripe” and uncorked for a few days. Could not get the bartender for a new glass. Luckily the happy contractors waived down the bartender. again. What really bothers me about this place is how a handful of customers monopolize the bartenders time.

Ordered the beet salad, sea bass, flat bread . Unremarkable dinner . The bad service did not he;p as you know how it is when your services starts bad it’s hard to recover. Sea bass seemed a little watery like it was frozen. Left unimpressed with an average impression.

I know prices are rising everywhere but they were pricey considering the quality of food. Servers were friendly but they were understaffed. We had two Caesar salads with shrimp and a bottle of Perrier for $63. With tip. It came to $75. Atmosphere was so-so. Had better salads at many places for a lot less.
