I enjoyed the beef shawarma wrap that comes neatly packed, easy to handle, and full of the wonderful flavors of the Middle East. The French fries are crispy and excellent as well. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. I will be adding this place as a regular stop in the future.

We just tried Pepe’s for the first time this past weekend. We had a pizza and Greek salad. Everything was great! The salad did come with red onions so if you’re not a raw onion eater like me, make sure you let them know when you order.
The pizza was amazing, topped with ricotta and fried eggplant The crust was delicious. Nice crunch even on the reheat. I don’t like a soggy droopy pizza with too much sauce and this was definitely NOT that.
Looking forward to coming back again ✌️

Absolutely a hidden gem! PepeNero blew me away — the Neapolitan pizza was incredible: light, flavorful, and perfectly charred. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and know what they’re doing. The woman at the counter was so friendly and welcoming, she really made the experience even better. Everyone should give this place a try — it’s the kind of spot you’ll keep coming back to. I know I will!

We stopped in for pizza last night. We got the pepperoni and the Gasparilla. They were amazing. The crust was perfect and the sauce had a complexity I wasn’t expecting, and complimented the pizza perfectly. My pepperoni was crisped just like I like it. The toppings were abundent.

The pizza here is Absolutely incredible and the staff are very friendly. I will admit I wouldn’t have gone here had another pizza place i wanted to try had not had a sign on their door saying staff on vacation. So I tried this place as my 2nd choice and honestly it should have been my 1st because WOW this place did not disappoint! I even went back the next day before having to travel back home from going camping. I will Absolutely be back when I visit the area again!

As others have pointed out, there’s new owners and the food is drastically different from what it was. While the new food isn’t bad, it’s now the same level of medium as everything else in the area, which is a real drop from where it was. I’ll probably be sticking to Dominos if I want local pizza, since it’s cheaper and about the same quality.

WARNING- To anyone reading this who knew and loved the OG pepenero; I regret to inform you it is now under new ownership and has gone astronomically downhill. This place was putting out some of best pizza in the area without question and under the new ownership is gas station quality at best. What really irks me is how the name/website/menu is still the exact same online yet they don’t offer half of that menu and the product is vastly different. Seems the new owners are thinking they can cash in on the aura this place had without providing the product. What a heartfelt bummer. I hope this was a favorable deal for the original owners and I wish them luck with their future endeavors.

We haven’t had Pepenero in a while and decided to order a veggie pizza as we were going to be driving by. We were sadly disappointed that it is not at all what we ordered last time. There weren’t nearly as many veggies and the crust was underwhelming. We will sadly not be returning.
2024:Got the veggie lovers pizza and it’s probably the best veggie pizza I’ve ever had. Topped with tons of veggies, yummy sauce and crust. Will definitely return!

Ordered an Italian sub. When I opened it I immediately noticed a weird fishy smell. My fiancé and I both tasted that weird fishy essence when we bit into it. The entire sub was warm even though Italians are supposed to be cold. After one bite we threw it out. Disappointing
