I’ve been here a few times. This time, I ordered through a food delivery app on my phone and chose the pickup option. I ordered my usual, the Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wrap and a kale salad, the app said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I drove over, entered and was greeted with a monotone welcome. Same level of energy carried over to the person behind the registry. I mentioned I was picking up my order, and it was sitting on the back counter ready to go. When I got home, the food was pretty fresh and flavorful. Overall, the food at this Tropical Smoothie is pretty consistent. The only thing that stood out during this visit was that the customer service was a little dry. I am sure I will be back when I am looking for a quick lunch options. 3.5 Rating

I had a great experience at Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I ordered a salad and it was absolutely delicious. The portion size was generous and very filling. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The customer service was amazing as well. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and efficient. I will definitely be coming back again.

I always enjoy bringing my business to the Tropical Smoothie location on Panola Rd. No matter what Management staff or employees are on duty, you are always greeted with a smile & a warm welcome. The employees are always kind & courteous, & the service is prompt, fast, & accurate….& the smoothies are delicious & top notch. When I am not in a hurry, I sit down & enjoy the music on intercom, & enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. I enjoy coming to this establishment & I highly recommend it to others to check it out…you will not be disappointed. Tropical Smoothie, keep doing what you are doing.

On my very first visit, I was very impressed with how clean the cafe was. The employees were very pleasant and greeted me as soon as I came in. I had never been to a Tropical Smoothie before, so I asked for advice. The young lady made a few suggestions and helped me complete my order. I was very pleased with the service I received, and I will be back the next time I am in the area.

I stopped by this location when passing through the area. Decided to try the Avocolada smoothie and the southwest wrap. Loved them both! They were really good. The staff was friendly and efficient. I was very happy with the experience and am looking forward to coming back.

They often seem understaffed, and there frequently appear to be internal issues within the family running the establishment. While it’s understandable that family businesses can face challenges, the ongoing tension and lack of coordination seem to affect the overall environment.
There also seem to be recurring problems with their POS system, which slows down service and creates frustration for both employees and customers. Additionally, the owner’s daughter’s interactions with staff come across as unnecessarily harsh and unprofessional, which is difficult to witness as a customer.
Overall, the business does not seem to be providing the level of service or positive impact that the community deserves. It would be beneficial for the management to address these issues if they hope to remain a valuable part of the neighborhood.

Everyone is super nice! I order online almost every day and my meals are always perfect. The food is fresh and I feel it’s always made with love. I have a sensitive tummy so I cannot eat regular fast food so I love having this option available and so close. This is my favorite location because it’s so convenient and I’m able to easily fit it into my busy work schedule. Love this place!
