Used to love this place. Have been a loyal customer since we move over 4 years ago… Lately pizza has been less impressive than years past. Today, ordered my pizza for my kids at 6pm … asked if there was any way to rush and they said as long as delivery driver returned quickly should get it out in 20min (I live 3min away)… babysitter called at 715 saying still no pizza.. I called Benito’s and it HADNT EVEN BEEN PUT IN THE OVEN YET… disappointed.. used to really love this place.. idk what has changed but really disappointed
Edit: reordered today (1+ month later) and my order arrived within 30min and looks like it used to so hopefully kinks have been resolved! 🙂

I was hired to take a few photos of their menu items recently. I also had the opportunity to try some of their dishes. Greg and Rachel are the NEW owners since November 2020. They are a very nice and dedicated couple and drive all the way out from Dearborn daily to serve the South Lyon community.
The dishes are very fresh and very tasty. I really like the deluxe pizza. The sauce is delish. The wings and rib tips are so good too.
Salad is fresh. As a matter of fact, all the items are great! Tummy is happy. They seem to run a tight ship and very service oriented.
Give them a try. You will not be disappointed!

The place is pricey but the pizza use to be worth it. I just waited a hour to get a cold pizza that tasted like a cheap hot and ready cooked hours ago. Very disappointed, I could have got this for half the price at hungry Howie’s.

Pizza slices were not cut all the way through, all the cheese and toppings slid right off when I tried to grab the slices. This happened because the pizza was still far too hot when they sliced it, so the cheese melted back together. The workers were nice and their establishment is comfortable and it tasted fine I just wish it was sliced better and when it had cooled a bit more.

This is one of the best pizza’s I have had in my life. Their sauce has seasoning and flavor. the mozzarella cheese was cooked perfectly on the pizza. I got their personal size pizza and it’s great. Here is a photo for reference.

I’ve never had a bad experience at this establishment until last evening. Both my fiancé and I became deathly ill after eating a large with multiple items. I called them the following day only to receive an apology only. Nothing else, no refund offered. It sounds like a younger crew possibly inexperienced in handling customer complaints. They were, however aware of the earlier health violations they had and claimed it was previous ownership.

For my mom’s 90th birthday, we had food catered from Benitos. There were about 50 people scheduled to attend, so I had a lot of questions about how much to order, but Ali was very patient and helpful throughout the process. In fact, when there was a mix up with the order, Ali made sure we had what we needed at no extra charge to us. The food was delivered in time, and the party goers were very complimentary about the food. Thank you, Ali, for helping to make my mom’s party a success.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! My husband ordered 2 slices and pop. Which came out to under the $8.00. Yet we were charged over $50.
They said they would refund the money. They didn’t. We reported it as fraud. Yet we still were cop-able for the charge. Don’t stop here or your money will be gone too. The system is broken for working class citizens. So disappointing !
