Nice little bar, and it was not too busy during our visit. No Karaoke that night, but the bartender was nice enough to break it out, which we really did appreciate. It was our first stop of many, and we had a really good time here. The drinks came out quickly and were all good. We stayed in the hotel close by, making it convenient for us to stop in. There is also a store and a subway, as well as a few other places located right in this little strip. I would for sure go back if ever in town.

UPDATE: NO MORE KARAOKE BOOOO CORPORATE! They said that it cost them money, but we saw fewer people who didn’t stay as long this time. Two stars off of atmosphere for that. This HAD BEEN one of our favorite PNW truck stops for the unique nature of having a home bar feeling with pool and karaoke, with a lively vibe. We were leaving and a couple was literally entering FOR the karaoke and were disappointed to find out it wasn’t happening. E
OLD REVIEW: Trent? An outstanding rock star behind the bar AND at the mic when KJ Simos wheedled him into the spotlight. His drinks are mixed right, his service and attentiveness was 10/10, and he was an amazing host. We didn’t even notice when he put one of our drinks down, it was magic.
KJ Simos? BOOK HIM, trust me! There aren’t enough words to put him on blast for being both an amazing MC and KJ. Karaoke with him was phenomenal: he flowed with his audience and he picked up on which singers he could easily play or sing with very easily. He has a great voice, can encourage anyone to sing, and brings the party spirit. He’s worth every penny.
(The billiards tables? They choose favorites, so I suggest you whisper sweet nothings to them.)

Karaoke can be an easy job to get wrong, but the KJ Simos is a machine. He was gracious, quick, professional, attentive. He was everything a KJ should be. He is a performer, an entertainer and a great part of the overall experience. As a lifelong karaoke singer, I never expected one of my best experiences to be at a gas station in a city ive never been to.
Trent, the bartender tonight, was also outstanding. His customer service was second to none, his demeanor, his attitude, everything was so warm and welcoming. He was busy all night and still found time to make sure our needs were met. It was a great night and these two gentlemen, professionals at what they do, did a great job making it memorable for me and my partner.

This is probably the best truck stop bar / tavern that I have ever been to. The menu is the same as the Country Pride restaurant next door so the food is better than most bar food. The beer is cold. The wait staff is personable. After a day of driving this is a great place to rest and wind down and if you’re a truck driver your truck is around back.

Then you’re at a truck stop you’ve never been to and they have a bar. Already a plus.
Then the bar has the best bartender you’ve ever encountered in your life. She gets everyone talking. Then before you know it you’ve met and befriended a bunch of truckers you would’ve otherwise just drank next to in silence looking at your phone.

I’m going to give it four stars because I had such a great time there however, there should be food not just what they sell in the little market. The bartender was fantastic we had a blast.
