Diamond in the rough. Good sushi for on the run. While we were waiting for our food it was evident that most customers were getting takeout or delivery. Flavorful and unique with an ample portion sizes. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area visiting family or hospital. Environment is ok.

All of the rolls tasted good fresh. The rolls are thin and cut into pieces of 8. This has more affordable prices compared to other sushi spots in the bay.
The only critique I had would be that the interior design felt like a cafeteria. I wouldn’t want to dine in, but would definitely get takeout again.

“Just had an amazing late-night sushi dinner! I ordered a variety of rolls, and every single one tasted fresh and delicious. My absolute favorite was the fried jalapeño with tuna-it was fantastic. My wife and I love sushi. This is a great hole in the wall spot for affordable sushi from a chef with over 20 years experience. This place is located in a small spot just off McKee rd. The food is excellent, and an extensive menu. I see some people are worried about the parking. Don’t be worried. It’s safe.

My husband and I enjoyed our spontaneous lunch at Sushi Day yesterday! While I didn’t anticipate much from this humble restaurant, I’m really impressed by the quality of the sushi rolls(Spider-Man, California, spicy tuna, hamachi, etc.). They also gave us 2 delicious drinks (mango and mocha) because they are launching speciality drinks next month. Please come support them! The plaza is undesirable but the foods are so delicious. Will come back next time! Additionally, for those complaining about slow service, it’s a limited back of the house crew. You’re not paying for omakase prices so shut your traps.

I decided to try this sushi spot via a recommendation from a friend. This sushi spot is more of a takeout sushi than to sit down and eat type of spot. It’s shared with a market and pizza place.
I ordered the Ichiban Roll, Lion King Roll, and the Snow Dragon Roll. All three rolls tasted very flavorful. However, I felt like the quality of the fish isn’t as good compared to other sushi restaurants. The Ichiban roll was good but I had to take out the tuna since the quality of it isn’t how I usually expect the tuna to be. Lion king roll was good but the salmon was a bit over cooked. Snow dragon had scallops on top which tasted good for a few bites but later on I felt like it was a bit too much. The house salad surprisingly had a lot of avocado which I also added on to my sushi.
The price for this spot is more affordable compared to other sushi spots. Service was friendly.

A hole in the wall. Sushi day is sharing space with Indian pizza. And there is a store to the left. Laundromat to the right. The location is very sketchy. We decided to do a take out. Oh boy, we were so surprised with a quality and the quantity was very generous too. The lady serving us was very friendly and spoke good English. Definitely ordering from there again!
