Krispy Krunchy Chicken® (KKC), founded in Louisiana in 1989, is a quick-serve solution for convenience stores, truck stops, universities, casinos, and big box retailers across the U.S. Every piece of our chicken and tenders is marinaded in a proprietary mix of mild but oh-so-flavorful spices, then double hand-breaded and fried to golden perfection. We serve it with the best sides around and most every order comes with a little bit of crowning glory – a freshly baked biscuit, generously drizzled with pure honey goodness.
Fast-food eatery specializing in Cajun-style fried chicken, plus wings, seafood, breakfast & more.

This Krispy Krunchy Chicken is in a Chevron gas station mini mart. It’s immaculately clean and neat. The chicken is indeed crispy and crunchy, and the biscuit is tender with a bit of sweetness, both are delicious. Service is efficient. There are no tables to eat at so be prepared to take it to go.

Not gonna lie! This place is bomb. I honestly wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was considering it came from a gas station. But I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the 4pc chicken finger combo and 3pc(breast/legs) combo with all of the sides. Of course I had to try them all. Next time I’ll get the Jojo’s and try the chicken sandwich cause I didn’t get to try those. ALL of the sides are top notch. I love me some Mac n Cheese and for being a chicken shop they do it right. Much better than KFCs Mac n cheese. Their beans and rice is delicious as well and I’d say better than Popeyes. The jambalaya was so good I wish I could have a bigger plate. Haha. And the mashed potatoes and gravy was on point as well. The biscuits were kind of old and dry but that’s expected cause it’s bread sitting in the warmer. But if I wasn’t pressed for time they would have made me fresh biscuits. The chicken was fire. Super crunchy even though it wasn’t super fresh. But the fact that the chicken was still great even not being cray out of the fryer says a lot. I was super happy with the quality of the food and the price point is pretty solid as well. Another great addition to our little 44th plaza so I’m sure I’ll be eating plenty of this place. If you’re in the hungry and in area check them out. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed! Haha. I would have taken pics but we devoured it so fast

The actual chicken tenders were decent for being under heat lamps! The sides were not: Wedges had sat under the heat lamp for quite some time and were very dry. Might throw them out later. Mac and cheese is bland. Chicken sandwich is OK. Employee was curt and awkward. Lied about the chicken having been fried “10 minutes ago.” I can tell it was longer than that, dude. Food is way salty. Not at all worth making a trip out of the way for, but glad to have tempered the hype with firsthand experience. Locals, spend a little more and splurge on Ezell’s because this ain’t it.
Also, no receipt was given.

The store itself seems pretty good, but the staff who work there are really rude to customers — especially the woman with curly hair. I hope the owner takes notice, because if this keeps up, people are going to stop shopping there!

Great value, less greasy than grocery store fried chicken. Honestly I’d even rather go here than KFC these days.

Biscuits were hard as a rock. My chicken was dry and chewy. It obviously was sitting around a long time.
