⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beyond Authentic Thai Cuisine!
I ordered the green curry with pork (medium hot) today, and it was absolutely incredible! The flavors were so authentic, with perfectly balanced seasonings that truly stood out. This restaurant goes above and beyond—I highly recommend it to anyone craving genuine Thai food. A must-try!

Sarasota is home to many excellent Thai restaurants, making it a challenge to pick the best. However, Thai Hot easily takes the crown. The flavors are fresh and vibrant, and the service and food quality consistently surpasses other options in the area. As frequent visitors, spending 6 to 8 weeks here annually and spending around 16 weeks in 2024, we’ve tried numerous restaurants, and Thai Hot remains one of our unassuming top choices.

It is an excellent place for food. You just have to be patient as they do not have help. But they will tell you upfront if you are willing to wait or not. Wait and you will see that the waiting is worth it. The food is so very delicious. My 11 year old even said so. Jay our server is still smiling even if it is just her and she is so nice. You won’t even noticed in her face that she is tired- very friendly. I highly recommend but please be patient. I was not able to take photo because my daughter and I were so hungry. We had Chicken Satay, Tom Yum soup and chicken basil. Delicious.

Nice inside, family run, very tasty Thai that is well balanced and comes from the family kitchen.
The Thai hot is not the most spicy in town but the flavors are well balanced, clearly defined and, very appealing. The salads are made by mom only, try them. Also the duck dishes are highly recommended and amazing.
Tomyum was again well balanced not too salty of oily. Really fresh with nice mushrooms and plenty of protein.
I have only been one time but this may become one of the favorites. Too bad it’s so far from where most folks love and there is no delivery.
Best sleeper Thai food place. Also staff are awesome.

SOOO good and SO happy this place is right by my house!!! My husband and I ordered Pad Thai, Panang Curry, and crab rangoons….and let’s just say, DELICIOUS!!! It was the perfect dinner for a chilly night but would also be good on any night!! It was the perfect amount of spice and freshness! You can really taste the authenticity and the love!! My husband is excited to eat his leftovers for lunch tomorrow and we’re looking forward to going back!

My regular Thai restaurant is closed until November so I decided to give Thai Hot another chance . I went when they were open a few months . Both food and service were horrible .
Glad I waited to write a review because they have come full circle . Service and food was excellent. I ordered Pad Thai Chicken and fresh rolls. The Pas Thai was cooked perfect and a huge take out portion . The fresh rolls? Im going to give a 3 star Im a stickler for ” fresh” rolls. Not sure what it is but only found a few restaurants nearby to get it right. Thai Hot fell short. These were wet and gummy and so loosely rolled , one bite and all the contents fell out and I was left with gooey rice paper wrap to dip in the peanut sauce ( which I saw the lady ladle out of a crock pot) It was nice to have a warm sauce to dip in. Flavor was great.
But I was thrilled to get a great tasting Pad Thai. I accidently deleted my pic of the fresh roll but have the Pad Thai

Heard about this new spot through Facebook groups and decided to try because of consistently good reviews. I’m glad I did! The decor inside was warm and inviting. The staff were friendly. The food was exceptional. We ordered takeout and got chicken green curry, shrimp panang curry, and chicken pad Thai, as well as crab rangoon, crispy rolls, and fresh rolls. Everything was fresh, delicious, and satisfying with quality ingredients. We ordered hot on one dish and medium on two others. All were perfect spice levels. The only downside was that I had to wait quite a while for the food to be prepared, but the wait was worth it. Will be back. Mmm.

The food is so good. But the service is so horrible. It’s not that they aren’t trying or incompetent, they are just so consistently understaffed. Called tonight for take out order, was asked “to hold”. Their phone was placed down for 20 minutes, with all of the background noise, and no one came back. I drove there and walked in, still connected to the call. Seriously, who runs a business like this? I told the sweet yet flustered young girl that the food is so good, but the service is so poor. She said “yes, but we’re busy…”. I’m sorry, that’s not a good excuse. Hire one or two more people. At a certain hourly wage, you will get someone.
